- Chicken Dragon Legs Recipe
Ingredients:
- 500g chicken legs
- Salt (to taste)
- Water
- 1 tbsp solid garam masala
- 2 tbsp ginger garlic sliced
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- Oil (for frying)
- 1 tbsp chopped ginger
- 1 tbsp chopped garlic
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 4 green chilies, chopped
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp red chili sauce
- 1 tsp cumin powder (jeera powder)
- 1 tsp coriander powder (dhaniya powder)
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- Salt (to taste)
- Water
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Chicken Legs:
- Wash the chicken legs thoroughly.
- Boil the chicken legs in water with a pinch of salt for 5 minutes.
- Drain and wash the chicken legs again.
2. Use Pressure Cooker:
- Place the chicken legs in a pressure cooker.
- Add enough water to cover the legs, solid garam masala, sliced ginger, sliced garlic, salt and 1 tsp turmeric powder.
- Cook in pressure coocker for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and set aside on a plate.
3. Fry the Chicken Legs:
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Fry the boiled chicken legs until golden brown.
- Remove and set aside.
4. Prepare the Sauce:
- In the same pan, add more oil if needed.
- When the oil is hot, add chopped ginger and garlic.
- Sauté for a minute, then add chopped onion and green chilies.
- Cook until the onions turned golden brown.
- Add black pepper, 1 tsp turmeric powder, and cook for a minute.
- Add red chili sauce, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt.
- Mix well and cook for a couple of minutes.
- Add a little water to create a sauce and cook for 5 minutes.
5. Combine and Cook:
- Add the fried chicken legs to the sauce.
- Mix well to coat the legs with the sauce.
- Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Your Chicken Dragon Legs are now ready to be served hot. Enjoy!
