After watching Gus and Woody do this - was wondering when we would see Birdman give it a go. Awesome visuals as always team! Your professionalism and skill in the water is inspiring. Love it!!!!
This has to be the best video ive ever seen from y'all. My jaw is on the floor. How did y'all manage to get so many amazing shots while CAVE DIVING?! This is insanely good
I was there in December filming the mine! It's so cool to see BlueWorld somewhere that I'm familiar with. I've always wanted to see you dive Bonne Terre...great episode!
Thank you guys, that was stunning as usual. What a joy to watch some of the best photography I've ever seen for free. There's nothing on TV that compares to your talent Jonathan.
Just mind blowing!! Beautiful Blue World!! You guys continue raising the bar …. Now with no other than the legend Mike (I’m watching this while resting from my day 3 of my Sidewinder training 😊)
Remember this when gus and woody did it but good to see again with your awesome filming skills and nice to see the sidewinder is being out in good use and also nice to see Mike in this one also. keep bringing those excellent videos out guys
How incredible and surreal! It always spooks me seeing divers in such massive spaces. The bottles and tools in particular were haunting, thank you so much for sharing! All your videos have so much work into them, easily one of the best channels on youtube! Thank you guys.
I just did this earlier in the year! By far one of my most favorite dives. My personal favorite part of the mines is the redwood forest. I hope you all were able to see that part!
Mike is a good friend of ours and it was nice to get a chance to dive with him again. Last time we dove together was at Devil's Hole when I was making Ancient Caves.
As a little kid I would love to watch your vids on my dads phone and every now and then I just check out your Channel to check how your doing thanks for all the good memories as a kid
Dove it last Sunday… words are enough to describe, I’m a new diver and it was scary m but you forget to stay scared because of insane experience of everything around. Guide Steve was out of the league, how does he memorize all the trails is incomprehensible. 109% coming back to dive deeper into it
Ever since I first visited the Bonne Terre mine a few years ago it's always been my dream to go back and dive it. In fact that was large part of the reason I got my scuba certification. This is, by far, the best footage I've seen of it! Thanks so much for sharing.
been watching you videos on and off since i was about 9, spent 2 years mowing lawns to save up for my own certification, and a couple more years after that slowly purchasing my own gear and tanks. now i’m 17 and cleaning boat bottoms and replacing zincs and props for a living, and looking into opening my own dive tour business out of rhode island in the next year or two
That place looks so foreign its hard to imagine anyone ever existing in there. I kind of feel bad for the fish if its the only one. Someone should take it to a lake. Awesome video, incredible diving and filming is just amazing. Especially the oxide smoke.
You guys should talk to the owners of the crystal gold mine in Kellogg Idaho. They have lots of stories and speculation about why the mine was closed. The short story is it was found by a man digging into what he thought was a natural spring, eventually he uncovered the entrance to a late 1800s mine. After the water subsided some he went into take a look and he found all sorts of old equipment including air pumps and several hand tools. They speculate that the mine flooded while it was in operation trapping some miners. There is a lower section that’s never been investigated further. I’m sure if y’all talked to them they would let you make a short film
What an amazing job you guys did. I love how you tell the story of the mine along with the story of your adventure inside. The video does such a great job of capturing the beauty of this place.
Never knew you'd find a dive site in missouri, practically the middle of nowhere ! Such a hidden gem ! Who knows what other sites you could find just round your street ?
Hi Measly FurBall. Bruce Zimmerman (Zimmy) here-the composer for Blue World. So glad you appreciate the music I do for these episodes. This one was especially fun as it had so many spooky scenes.
@@BruceZimmermanMusic Oh my gosh, hello! Your music for this episode genuinely gave me goosebumps. It was the perfect mix of terror and wonder. Hope you continue to create such wonderful music and hope you have a good day :)
Thanks for the interesting video, I enjoyed it. Reminds me of how great a place is the nearby Montola Limestone Mine, where I have dived for the first time in 2006 and worked, among other thing , as an event organizer, kilometers of corridors, the depth of the main shaft is more than 200 meters
Wow, I am just amazed that you always find great things to explore! Thats from someone who has subscribed to your channel for YEARS! You inspired me to be a Diver!
Awesome. I am a relatively new sub and watched the one video where you all explained the vids come out once a month. Then i noticed there were coming out 2x a month and I'm like well totally rad... Because I need blue world more than just 1x a month!
thanks for finding such places. we need to extract such materials immediately. who can we work with only? we could redo the area for cave divers who want to beautify the area with more appropriate meterial systems, even for future tourist styled appearance❤ I love you Jonathan bird, such a good example in our lives. I feel blessed because of you and your kind of special dedication❤
That's kind of common in caverns. It keeps the open water certified divers from going into places they don't belong. The open water parts of the mine are already lit from above.

That's what we do man!! :-). Thanks!
The water is insanely clear, even for a cave
man this is the best episode of your recent cave diving vids, the mine was epic. Would love to see more in the future!
this is the man who made my childhood worth living.
Aw!
Its always a good time when mr bird goes diving again.
Especially for me!!! :)

It’s incredible how well water can preserve things.
One of the most breathtaking incredible dives you have ever done jonothan thank you for taking us to this adventure with you i really mean it !

Long time mine diving enthusiast from Sweden. This video was awesome!
These videos should last 2 hours each, awesome stuff, mind blowing.
That is so awesome especially the rust smoke
Just mind blowing!! Beautiful Blue World!! You guys continue raising the bar …. Now with no other than the legend Mike (I’m watching this while resting from my day 3 of my Sidewinder training 😊)
Mike is quiet...and powerful. Like a Jedi master.
The still cloud effect is SOOOO cool.
This is awesome not to mention as safe as cave diving can be. With proper training.
What a crazy dive spot
I watched him every day when I was 3-8

I'm glad you all grew up with this! I wish this was part of MY childhood but oh well :D
Blue World TV and Under Sea G are 2 of my favorite diving channels!
Wow... Those frozen clouds would make a very cool cinematographic effect in a scifi movie!

The best channel ever...🎉🎉
Cave diving with no guideline = maximum anxiety. 😅 Very unique dive to say the least, thanks for the virtual tour.
There is a guideline in any of the sections that require it.
What an amazing site. I did NOT expect a mining cave to be that massive! Let alone the actual under water parts! Creeply awesome!
So good to see Mike here. You’re really doing a lot with a lot of faces and names I actually recognize whose channels I also watch.
Mike is a good friend of ours and it was nice to get a chance to dive with him again. Last time we dove together was at Devil's Hole when I was making Ancient Caves.
Those metal clouds are mind blowing! Thank you so much for showing us this!

I’ve found my purpose in life. I’m going down that mine
I 'm from the 2nd group of dive guides in the mine ,early 80''s. Seen lots of things I never saw before FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks!
What an extraordinary place. Thanks for those beautiful shots !
I guess a 5 or 7 mil is not warm enough for this awsome place.
I need to get my drysuit cert, for sure!!
Great video!!
WOW that water is soooo clear!! 👍👍
I’ll pass on the ‘orange cotton candy’ you found! 😁❣️
I love diving here. Been up to trail 22. Cannot wait to go back.

If a fish got in there, that means its connected to a body of water somewhere/some how
I think they told us when we were there that it was put in there

You really need to dive Madison Blue Spring, would love to see a video going back to the Courtyard

So many caves on my bucket list!!!
I feel fish, crustaceans and stuff should be introduced in there!
Very cool!
I’ve watched a ton of scuba and shipwreck videos, but I think you just introduced the term “rustsicles” to me. Good video.
I would like to take credit for that but I'm pretty sure I stole it from somewhere!
Add more bass (fish) Imagine the loneliness of that poor creature... Anyway great upload! Thx
I agree!! Bonnie needs a few friends!!
Wow this is amazing, looking forward for dives in more man made structures.
Incredible place 😲
I checked their website. For general divers, they do not allow you to bring your dive light. What a weird regulation!
That's kind of common in caverns. It keeps the open water certified divers from going into places they don't belong. The open water parts of the mine are already lit from above.
Amazing dive!
