this is my very favorite song of melodious lady Fairuz , first heard it in a lebanese restaurat in london, and now love to listen it almost every day, love from pakistan
The music was aired on national radio in the late 70s thru early 80s in Malaysia especially during Ramadhan and very nostalgic to children growing up from those era. Although the song itself has nothing to do with Ramadhan or fasting. Maybe it has a sad tune.

@Mike Vassir This is not a persian song, this tune belongs to _Mullah Uthman Al Mawssili_ , a famous Iraqi Quran recitator, who was the last official Quran recitator of the Osmanlu caliphate. He also was a musician and sufi guru. He died in Aleppo in 1921, and all his songs were plagiarzed by egyptian and syrian artists. iraqshistory.blogspot.com/2010/10/forgotten-giant-mullah-uthman-al-musli.html
@Mike Vassir You say so because no persian music expert can claim it is persian song! As for that music, I don't like it btw. I just want my people; the Arabs, to know who was its original composer. Plagiarism should be exposed and denounced.

Lebanon's magic. Enjoy.
Interesting to see a violin used in an "arabic style". It's really cool how cultures have shared and influenced each other over centuries.
God bless you. Each time I hear this tune tears come to my eyes. I remember Fairuz. Perfectly executed, many thanks.

It's due to the fact that anything from the middle east were holistic at that material time.
Lebanon reaches everywhere. And makes everyone elated. Just see the impact of Lebanese cuisine in the world of dining...
