Love that your method of 72 cards is the way I think!.. I love to max pieces.. I also do mix... and I do all 4 sides of a card... my insert is virtually the decorated inside. Thanks for showing me all these things. !

Thank you for the explanation on the card sizes. I received the beautiful Fabulous Florals kit and started on the first set of cards. Your video is very easy to follow and has a lot of good tips. I'm looking at the scraps in a whole new way LOL!! I've trimmed every edge that I thought might be useful. If I don't use them I'll save them for my 9 year old grandniece who loves to make cards with my sister.

Hi, Debbie! I would like to say that I've been ordering Hunkydory card kits, cardstock, acetate, animal and Christmas box sets, magazines, etc., etc., for the past year and a half. off of the Create and Craft web site, but now that I know that there is a business I can purchase them from here in the U.S., I will be purchasing them from you. Create and Craft, other than their distribution center in Michigan, is located in Great Britain, but outsources their terrible customer service -- who cannot understand Americans when we speak to them -- from the Philippines. They possess such thick Philippino accents, that there is a huge communication gap. So it's wonderful that there is a web site where we can order from, where there is no confusion and we won't have to wait for two and a half weeks (hopefully), to receive the items we order! I'll remember your web site next time I need to order more of my Hunkydory supplies! Thank you for your great and informational videos.

I used this kit and made 2 cards with each topper, and folded the adorable scorable in half to make big cards as teacher appreciation cards for a school where I volunteer. I used the watercolor adorable scorable for the other card bases. It was fun, and went together really quickly. I used some deco-large from other kits, too, as I needed 60 cards. (I did something different for the male teachers, as these were too feminine for them!). But they are very stunning, and I know everyone will love them. Thanks for all the hints -- I think this is one of my favorite Hunkydory kits. But I say that about several of them!
Thanks for sharing your experience with the Fabulous Florals kit. We were sad to see this one retire and sell out because it was a SUPER popular kit. We are hopeful that Hunkydory's newest addition, Floral Favorites Deco Large, will have a similar look and feel. It looks like it does and if so, I am sure we will love it!

Tip: if you put a small amount of liquid glue over your exposed tape, if will give you a few seconds to line your pieces up. Just enough wiggle room so if your like me and can never line it up right the first time, you’ll have enough time to slide it into place and get the corners matched up correctly. Just in case all liquid adhesives are created equal, I use Tombow mono liquid glue and it works fine.

After a very busy holiday season, we enjoyed completing this fun and easy kit. Using this is an amazing kit, the techniques in our video, and your own cards and envelopes, you can make an AMAZING 72 cards!
Don't let the name "Deco Large" discourage you for making this kit. You do not have to make large cards. In fast, most of the cards that we created sing this kit were A7 (5x7") or smaller!

I love Hunkydory kits and cardstock. I've bought quite a few of their kits from Createandcraft.com. I was wondering if that is where you purchased yours. Only thing I've noticed is you buy a kit not all of them have envelopes to go with the cards and most of the cards are like an 8x8 size in England on the Createandcraft channel.

We offer one of the largest selctions (maybe the largest) of Hunkydory craft kits and supllies of any US store.
If you take a look at some of our other videos, you will see that the reason Hunkydory does not supply envelopes is that their cards can be made in ANY size or style. We will show you how to make your cards in smaller sizes as well as specialty styles. We make most of our cards in smaller sizes--although we throw in a few larger ones just for variety.

Hi. Do you have any idea why there are not more YT videos about Paper Wishes or Hot Off the Press? I have been receiving their monthly scrapbook kit for a while now and the only videos I see about their products are made by the Company itself. I think that Paper Wishes is a hidden gem and don't know why there is not more buzz about them!
Hi az, I agree with you. HOTP is a great company with great products. We have a lot of loyalty to HOTP and carry most of their products in our webstore (www.simplyspecialcrafts.com) They were actually our very first wholesale account over 14 years ago now. (my how times flies!) Paulette Jarvey from HOTP has been great about allowing us to use their videos, photos and samples in our promotions.
Paper Wishes does a great job demonstrating their products through their Webisodes, packaging, and emails. My guess is that you don't see a lot of other merchants creating videos becuase they are already doing such a great job of self=promotion.
We use lots of HOTP products in our videos, but we tend to focus on the use of products where there is a real need for additional instruction. That is one reason we focus a lot of attention on Hunkydory Crafts. Many kits have little or no instruction provided and customers can find themselves at a loss as to what to do with these beautiful products. We want to fill in the gaps...

With so many YT videos on scrapbooking, diy embellishments, etc, I find it perplexing that there are no customer videos. I would be interested in seeing what the customers made with their products. Deco Large Luxury kits come with 2 of each design, so this video represents all of the designs but 1/2 of the total card potential. Hi Marilyn, With most card kits, I use the Hunkydory inserts (sold separately) to decorate the inside with matching images. In this particular kit made SOOOO many cards that I left many of them blank. Debbie
After seeing this video I just had to order this beautiful kit. I have a question about card sizes, what is A-4, A-6 etc.?
Hi Cindu, A4, A6 etc. represent the sizes of the cards used in our video. Here are some basics:
A2 is a common US card size. it is 4.25x5.5" (the size of a 8.5x11-inch paper quarter folded (or one half a sheet of cardstock folded in half.)
A4 is a European Size it is the size of the cardstock used in most Hunkydory kits and it measures roughly 8.25x11-inches
A5 is a European size that is A4 folded in half 8.25x5.5-inches
A6 cards are in two difference sizes (yep, we get that is it confusing!) The Europeans use this term for cards that are roughly 4x6". US A6 is 5x6.5". We sell both and I try to be careful to tell you whether I am using a European or a US size.
A7 cards are also sizes used in both countries. Most cards that you see in our videos are US 5x7" cards. European A7 are less common. Although we do sell one or two styles. They are 4-1/8x2-7/8 inchs.
Other sizes commonly used in our videos are common European sizes: DL (8x4"), and square sizes 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, 7x7, and 8x8". We sell all of these European sizes.
We also use a variety of specialty card folds made by both US and European manufacturers. If you like the rocker cards, side step, center step, arched card, and others, we sell those too.
Those that sign up for our store newsletter receive notices of new videop posted with links to all of the products used. This can make navigating our large store much easier. Hi Marilynn, I usually use the matching Hunkydory inserts and any leftover images, borders and accent pieces. Because there were SOOOO many cards from this pack and I had just one pack of inserts, I did not line all of these.
