I don't think so 540 ever used by Indian Army...540 and 550 were mainly used by Government Departments ...In high altitude they have opted 440.Indian Army Contract used ladder chassis 550 and later NGCS.😇

Indian army Jeep were mostly were MM 550 not MM 540. This is an old mahindra MM 540 not an army jeep. 4:41 not for Jerrycan it's called as bumperette rear.
