I don’t understand why people are trying to mix legal repercussions with social repercussions. Yes, Cardi has done terrible things and has been accused of terrible things. She even has escaped being held responsible according to some people. However, this case is about Tasha K LYING about specific things and being found liable in court for those lies after she ignored cease and desist letters, told the court’ ““I knew what I said was lies, I said it for money and she can afford the therapy”, and gave them ample evidence to prove malicious intent. Cardi could be the most evil person in the world, but you still can’t defame someone’s character. It’s literally the law. Cardi b also didn’t sue for $4mil. She was awarded $4mil after suing for $75k only to clear the threshold to get to a certain court level. After being found liable, Tasha K furthered the taunting through a press tour and started bankruptcy KNOWING that her debt to Cardi B was NOT dischargeable while failing to be forthright in bankruptcy court. She also was told in the original civil case by the judge to not move assets, which it appears that she did through trusts and making LLCs. ILLEGAL!!! The lies she told to that court about those trusts and assets are subject to be FEDERAL crimes, which is why it is being turned over to the DOJ. Cardi B character has nothing to do with Tasha K making unnecessary Ls. Trolling, lying, and poor business decisions will be Tasha K’s legacy.

My above statement is about how people are trying to take up for Tasha K’s wrong by attaching it to Cardi’s behavior that is unrelated. What someone can go to jail for is for perjury, defrauding the government, lying to a court official in official court proceedings, and money laundering which is what it appears to be what Tasha K has done. Cardi may never collect $4mil, but I’m sure she will sleep well owning those domestic accounts, garnishing wages, and helping the US Government in its federal case against Tasha K if they pick it up.
