    Ryan. Excellent review. Looks like a solid little EDF. I agree with no glue. I wish more manufacturers would incorporate machine thread internal wrench fastener head hardware for the build. Especially for any high speed aircraft. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍😊

      Well said Brad, though at this price point, it is still a very good value 😎

    This little jet is becoming quite popular, every video I’ve seen of it it just flys amazingly smooth and stable, keep up the good work and great content Ryan 👊👊

      Thanks Mike! It is one of those fun jets that give you the satisfaction of flying a jet with a much better stress to fun ratio. That Maiden Flight video is coming soon btw 😎

    Flew the Baby Viper 5 times today. Still a blast to fly. Took me awhile to get the Admiral 600sp receiver dialed in. It’s basically turned off, which makes me feel good about me. You know, this little EDF is just fun.

      Oh yes my friend! This jet doesn’t need any gyro to fly really well. I am glad you enjoy it! 👊🏻😎👊🏻

    Glue is not a con.I prefer glue in addition to screws.I plan on using 5 minute epoxy to install the stabilizer on my Horizon Hobby V900 which is a high speed sport plane.

    • @GBLynden
      @GBLynden  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It all depends on your perspective regarding the glue. Their new F-86 is all screws and it was awesome. The newest version of this comes with a gyro and I think I have a link to it in the video description.

    Hey GB! Great little review. I love your speaking voice - very calm and chilled. I'd like to see more videos with some chatting. I've noticed most are pretty quiet - except for plane noises! All good either way.
    Quick question - I'm asking everyone's opinion about this, so I'd love to hear yours: As a first EDF, what would you recommend? Freewing 64mm planes (Lippisch, MiG-15) or something like the Arrows Marlin? Or would you recommend something different? I'm hoping to get something I'll handle, but also a plane that will allow me to grow into and get more involved with aerobatics, speed etc. I was keen on the Lippisch because she has such a good flight envelope according to most, people seem scared of the nose dive at launch under power, though which seems hazardous to a newbie.
    Share your thoughts, brother!
    Nick.

    • @GBLynden
      @GBLynden  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Nick! You are right about the P.15 nose diving at launch, so I just added a launch switch to help. Having a good throwing arm or a buddy with that also helps a lot too. This Viper is certainly a good candidate for a first EDF Jet and is much easier to hand launch than P.15. I haven’t flown the Marlin, but it certainly also looks like a very good candidate for a first EDF Jet. The real question is what have you flown before and have you researched the differences between EDF’s and Prop Planes? I ask because knowing those can make a huge difference between success and failure with EDF Jets.

      @@GBLynden I've been flying an FMS super EZ and a 2000mm glider. YEP i know all about prop instant power and the prop wash effect as opposed to none of that for edfs. I've done a heap of research and now fine tuning it to a final choice.
      Take care.

      Hi Michael and thank you for your comment! This Viper makes a great first EDF Jet, but the Arrows BAe Hawk I just did posted an unboxing on a few days back is wonderful too with it gyro system along with the Arrows T-33. The BAe Hawk maiden flight video will likely be posted this weekend.
      Let m know if you have any questions I can help you out with regarding this jet 👊🏻💥👊🏻

    Gluing is part of the hobby, too old school of me ???

    • @GBLynden
      @GBLynden  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That is totally fair! I will say that most of the newer kits do not require glue and are only screws. I like to fly, not mess around on the bench. Of course, some guys like that as much as they do flying 👊🏻💥👊🏻

    Bonjour GBLynden's RC, merci pour cette vidéo bien sympathique.
    Je vois que tu as un Lipo 3s 1550mah, peut-tu me donner une estimation du temps de vol avec ce Lipo s'il te plaît.
    En te remerciant par avance.

      I Jorge, no it does not. You get to pick your own radio and receiver. This is also NOT a great platform for beginners.

    • @GBLynden

      Oooooooh yeah! Just ignore that. It isn’t designed to be used in this jet.
