Welcome back to the Foxhole and now going back to Metal Galaxy era.🦊🤘🌅
Rare you didn't know about this song.
Metal Galaxy is a wonderful album and full of surprises, you're gonna find many more like this with more mature sound, it came out in 2019 so isn't so new but is one of the songs with more mature sound.
The album version got the collaboration of Polyphia guitarists, Tim Henson and Scott LePage, and it's quite clear in the solo section. Polyphia got a viral clip when they were performing live and having an issue with the drummer IEM not working and a roadie helped him out in an unorthodox way to save the show, very funny clip.
Their songs are mainly instrumental but i think they got some collabs with famous singers but don't quote that on me, what is for sure they got mad skills playing instruments.
Tim Henson also said when listening to this song that he would love to play this along with BabyMetal on the stage, he didn't know the final cut when he was doing the riffs on this song.
The dance on this song is beautiful and graceful, they're showing another mature side and more complicated choreography. According to MoaMetal is the hardest song to dance along with BxMxC and Night Night Burn iirc.
Song is inspired by certain "City Pop" band and Utada Hikaru songs, when SuMetal heard this she doubt about this being a metal song but then the guitars solo were added and all make senses suddenly.
Finally we got them together on stage and with this awesome live performance, it is their first time performing together.
They did it again yesterday at Graspop Festival in Belgium and they hug each other at the end just like in this version only thing it was cut out, there's also a proshot clip but I'm not so sure about the sound mix.
Along with RATATATA this was definitely one of the highlights at FOX_FEST and a lot of Japanese fans were looking for, I guess that cool slow pace city pop element gives some nostalgia and that's why many fans love it.
In a recent interview, Tim and Scott talked about a new song in their upcoming album along with BM, let's see what they got but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be something real good like this one.
Happy belated birthday to YuiMetal and remember next July 4th is MoaMetal special b'day.
Keep enjoying BM songs and see you next time 🦊🤘🔥

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 I witnessed this artistic play at the venue (2 times in the two-day Fox_Fest). What a bliss!! Soothing and exquisite performance by 5 elegant figures in the center 😍. Classy incorporation by our Kami Band on both sides (4 guitars in total) ❤ Various elements were mixed and sublimed into one beauty by means of something like alchemy. The actual applause at the end of the song was much much much bigger than that recorded in this video.

Polyphia started out as a djent / metal core band but has gradually incorporated different elements so you may find the older pieces from them somewhat different to the later.
From the heavier side, "Bloodbath" featuring Chino Moreno of Deftones, "ABC" ft. Sophia Black is pure pop with jazz chords, "Lit" is probably the turning point piece for the direction they started to move. There is an excellent studio live performance of the piece "Neurotica". "Playing God" is probably their current signature song.

This song is considered one of the more pop-oriented, or not so heavy songs on the third album of BM, 'Metal Galaxy' in 2019, and it seems to be the stuff that the fans have different tastes in, but I'm glad you like it. I love it too. Thank you from Japan.

I am not so sure thatvit is mainly a question of taste. I think one of the problematic points is that they remember that Babymetal was originally afraid of metal. But I think they underestimared, what Koba did. He knew that he was fascinated by Metal. So he was their example for the bigger meaning of metal and this example was extremly interesting. They are more or less Metal fans, not that they were forced to become this but they recognized how profound the effect of metal could be. Moa is a extremly qualified Metalhead by herself. And many people underestimate Su. She has learned a lot. As she was more or less waiting that Yui and Moa were old enough to leave Sakura Gakuin, he let her work as a roadie in the japanese Metal industry. She has learned what these people were doing around her, but she also qualified herself
For their Crew she is not only their Boss as the lead artists, but they also knpw that she is one of them. For Koba it was obvious that their first hire after the Band was a lighting expert. And as Koba learned this had a derp effect on Yui and Moa. When they realized that she knew more about their inEar Monitors, they wanted to learn and after Su wss done they contacted their Monitor Techs themselves and he wss quite surprized that they qualified the girls. The girls themselves are quite capable when it is about their InEsrs.

You say that because you haven’t seen truly top Babymetal production.

@@BottomLineWMCX Tokyo Dome is one of Babymetal's biggest concerts. This is a 55k ppl arena. And there was 2-days concerts in a row (110k ppl total)
The stage had 3 tiers and an elevator to go up. Also, part of the lower tier could rotate. The stage was located in the center of the arena, and had 3 “petals”, at an angle of 120 degrees, each of them also had a moving platform.
The stage also had a ring screen on the 2nd tier. and a system of powerful lasers throughout the arena.
I read that about 1000 ppl were involved in assembling this structure.
The design itself is clearly visible in the Megitsune video.

    👍 👍
Easily one of my favorite BABYMETAL songs. Suzuka's vocals are just stunning.
    Production is outstanding (no surprise).
THE best production from a BABYMETAL performance however for me is
Metal Kingdom LIVE from PIA ARENA 2023 HQ Pro Shot from the For The Fox God channel (20,000+ sold out crowd chants in unison with the girls)
