Qlik Sense Basic Tutorial for Beginners [2024] - Complete Tutorial - Getting Started - Part 1

Qlik Sense tutorial for beginners where I'll teach you qlik sense from scratc. We'll start with how to download and install qlik sense and then we'll see how we can unlock the qlik sense, then we'll look at the data that we'll use and then we'll import the excel data in qlik sense and then we'll apply the filter in on the data and load data. Once data is loaded in qlik sense then we'll look at the data manager to understand how we can review the data, remove or change the filters and also apply setting like replacing value, setting null values, splitting values and the statistic of the column like how many unique values it has.
Once we'll complete the review of data manager in qlik sense, we'll then create and format the KPIs for Qlik Sense business performance dashboard and then we'll create and format bar chart, line chart, tree map chart and scatter chart.
A lot of tips and tricks related to distinct values and enabling data labels, formatting data lables and removing the header of kpis will be discussed and implemented.
Here I've taken the project based approach where I'll show you the final qlik sense dashboard that you'll create and then step by step we'll create this qlik sense dashboard end to end.

Excellent Tutorial. There aren't many tutorials done in TH-cam when it comes to Qlik Sense. This one surely stands out. I just wanna make one quick and rather brutal comment (with no bad intention of course). While I was watching you video and I do think you done an excellent job, I just can't help noticed that you use the word 'RIGHT' many times while you delivering your lecture. It is kind of monotonous listening the word 'RIGHT' in out of context during your valuable lecture but also some people may 'ridicule' or even worse turn you into 'mockery'. If I were you I would totally avoid the word 'RIGHT' while making any future videos. Hope you do not take my comment wrong way though. I understand you do it as habit but I am sure you can discard the habit of saying 'right' for totally out of context though. But overall this is really good tutorial indeed.

@@AbhishekAgarrwal It's not a problem. I do think you have lot of talents and I as 'time unfolds' like to associate with you. Perhaps develop full blown end to end data analytic tutorial with Excel Power (Power Query, Power Pivot, DAX), SSIS, SQL, and then Visualization (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense) and R. Towards Success!

to hide the data label, we can click on the chart (KPI in this case) then go to Appearance -> Styling -> Chart -> Uncheck "Show first KPI title"
