I give you a like for a good review video. I just put mine together. I think it looks cheap to have that seam in the base where the two base halves come together. My Soleus and Honeywell fans have one piece bases. And I agree with you it should have a channel for the power cable. I have not tested performance yet so as long as that is satisfactory and in line with the reviews I have seen I will over look the base shortcomings. Thank you for reviewing.

@@helenalovelock1030 Hi, I have to say yes I do. The base seam is not noticeable, but more importantly the performance is great. it's quiet and powerful. It was also super easy to hook up to my wifi, so even though the remote they provided was quality, I like the option of controlling it with my phone, but even better I am using my google nest max to operate it with my voice. Thanks for asking!

My friend, this is a brilliant review - I think the nicest one I’ve seen for this fan! 😊 👏
I’ve had a 16” pedestal fan for the past 8 years, and while it’s really good at being a fan (and has a remote, but no app), the whole construction of it is really struggling now - the central pole is constantly leaning, and no amount of tightening the bolt underneath sorts it out! The fan head also doesn’t stay in position if you lift it up to tilt in any direction other than drooping down (sometimes it stays put if you point it a lot more upwards, as long as it isn’t also oscillating!)… and last but not least, the whole thing is creaking, and very annoying to move between my bedroom and living space/office, not to mention being bulky in a small space, so squeezing past it is always awkward and makes it creak! I might be able to fix some of those things if I open it up and re-tighten all the screws, but I can’t find the manual for the version I have online anymore, and the paper version is lost somewhere in a box with other papers… plus a friend had the same fan, and when he tried to do the same, the band that keeps the cage for the blades in place snapped and I think he ended up having to 3D print a fix! 😬
I’ve been researching different options, and while I was tempted by the Dyson air purifier/fan combos, I couldn’t justify the price. I bought a separate BlueAir DustMagnet purifier a few months ago that I’m liking, and I’ve been looking more seriously at a few of the Dreo and Levoit options for tower fans. I should have probably gone with a cheaper one given the investments I’ve been making in my smart home recently (I’ve also bought an Ecovacs Deebot robot vacuum and mop!)… but the Dreo Pilot Max has the nicest design I’ve seen, as well as being so quiet!
I’ve watched a bunch of review videos today, but yours sealed the deal - I clicked your affiliate link but I’m in the UK so had to go to the UK store separately, so apologies if you don’t get the credit! Your review is really clear and has great production values (and a great camera/lenses!) to present it really beautifully, and I’m shocked you don’t yet have more subscribers and views here! (TH-cam is having some problems and not letting me access anyone’s actual channels at the moment, so I don’t know how long your channel’s been around)… you’ve got yourself a new subscriber here anyway! I’m not a parent (unless my two cats count - I do find myself needing a child lock feature on my smart home devices so they don’t set them off by standing on them 😹) but I am into tech, so if you have other videos like this one, I’m sure I’ll find value! 😊

Mine is working perfectly, except the Menu button doesn't seem to work. I have reset it to the factory settings, but it's still not working. Any idea what to do?
