Hey, Im a singer on a cruise ship, as well 🥰 as far as I've learned (and I say that with the knowledge that just cause I learned it doesn't mean I'm right 🤣)... but I had a vocal injury that took me 2 years to heal, and I learned a lot about vocal health in the process... blah, blah, blah, all I wanted to say is that whispering is actually more tiring for your voice than speaking normally... so when you want to get vocal rest, you should never ever whisper, either be completely silent, or speak less words, but with proper breath technique ❤️ Hope you're much better and that you don't ever have to vocal rest anyway 🤣

I know I shouldn’t whisper- but it was the only way I could quickly communicate without pain😩Trust me-I didn’t whisper except for what was filmed (and all of this stretched over more than a week) thankfully I am back to 100% now! No idea. I tested negative for Covid. I never got an official diagnosis. But if I had to guess-I had a upper respiratory infection ?
