Operation Research was tough subject for me and Mr.Srinivasan Made it very easy and understandable . Many thanks to Mr.Srinivasan Sir and IIT-Madras and the person who uploaded this video. Studing in IIT was a dream for me,but i could not studied. Because of this video, now I am virtually studying in ITT....
his first two problem I could solve on my own, but for this one I couldnt easily see how to get as few as 10 decision variables. Very interesting stuff. great intro to operations research I have a background in chemical engineering and it was very easy to understand
The lectures are awesome... very easy to understand .... and clears the concepts. Good especially because for a topic like LPP it is easier to listen/see and understand than read a book. Thanks a lot Sir.
I think just the concept at 15:37 is little bit different. It is ( 9" wide X no of 9" sheets produced excess ) + (8" wide X no of 8" sheets produced excess ) +..... It doesn't have to do anything with area and i think the objective function still deals with the wide or length factor. correct me if i am wrong
sir i am very thankfull to you for all your efforts and hardwork but i faced a problem. at the end of the 2nd lecture there are certain assumptions of liear programming problem and one among them is linearity. what does this linearity means. does it coincides with proportionality assumption or does it mean that all the decision variables and constraints are of degree 1 or anything else. please answer in brief. thankyou
Dear prof, First of all I would like to forward my thanks for your interesting lecture. I have one question on the first part of this lecture video, What does a subscript ij did represent which is shown at the 22th min of the lecture?

PROF SIRI HAS DONE A GREAT DEAL OF EFFORT TU PUT IN YOUR HEAD.. SO LISTEN TO CAREFULL.. AND DO NOT FORGET TO THANK HIM IN THE END..
Very much appreciable work. The professor is explaining very simply like every single thing of mathematics is being visualized
Fortunate and proud to have studied from Professor Srinivasan. Thank you for your hardwork professor. 🙏🙏🙏.

Thanks a lot ... fulfilled my lifelong dream of studying in the IIT's :D
Form these videos i cleared my concepts. Although i am doing PhD but these lectures are very helpful for me.Thanks to Prof.G.Srinivasan.

ZAK. May you get greater reward for putting these things so easy for us. Thanks alot sir.
Thank you very much for this nicely captured lecture. It has increased my understanding of Linear algebra and my interest in the subject. Love it!
This is a very fantastic job you are doing , you have no idea hw much u saving our asses..!!
Videos are very easy and lucid to understand...
Really Helpful... and Too much conceptual...
Thank you very much sir....
Sir, thank you so much for this lecture :).
All your lectures are marvellous. Thanks for your time.
Thank u so much sir for good understanding.🙏🙏🙏

objective function only deals with either increase or decrease of product or resource respectively....the same case is here. hope you got it
Nissar Ahmed I have the same problem understanding the explanation. Could you help me with this?
You dwarf my professor!
interesting and well organised! thank you!
3p1-p2 and not 2p2*
Thank you
linerarity means all variables are either degree 1 or degree 0, no higher terms than "x" basically, so no "x^2" etc.
REALLY EDUCATIVE LECTURE
NICE EXPLANATION....
Thank you Sir, from the depth of my heart.
thank you so much for providing such a well explained videos
Excellent i learned a lot from those videos
Thank You so much for putting this up. Grateful.

Thank-you so much for the knowledge you are sharing with the world..
very well explained .Thank you sir
its helped a lot for preparing for icwa, opertion mangement exam
Long live ICWA:)
very clear lecture that i had in my life thanku sir
Is there a playlist that has all the lectures? Thanks!! wonderful by the way..
Very good explanation Thank you sir

a_{ij} represents the number of j-th type of cut on the i-th pattern.
precise explanation,thnk u sir
Thanks Sir. God bless u.
You are the best sir. Thank you :-)
Great lecture.
Great lecture
