    Thanks for sharing! I’m jealous of your pieces - I just bought my first piece from VCA and unboxed it. I ultimately went with MOO because there was a one year waitlist for the hammered gold pieces 😮

      YAY that's great! which piece did you get in MOP?
      and... WHAT?! how is it a 1 year waitlist for hammered gold? which country do you live in? My SA mentioned that shipment for hammered gold don't come in regularly, but I wouldn't have imagined 1 year. I hope this video helps you choose what's next on your wishlist, and you can put it on your SA's radar!

      @@grace.dedito I got the vintage MOP! And yes we have the sweet hammered gold pieces but the vintage size is a one year waitlist and you need to pay in full when you join the waitlist which is crazy!

    Hello, do you swim in pools or beaches with your VCA necklace? If you do, how has your necklace held up so far? Just wanted to know how durable the necklace is as I know that exposure to chlorine is quite harmful for jewelry.

      Hi! I don't swim in pools or beaches with my VCA necklace (to avoid a tan line, haha!). That being said, I know that it's fine to wear hammered gold pieces (the ones without any stones) in chlorinated water without any damage.

      VCA SA told me not to wear hammer gold or any gold pieces in the pool because the chemicals will damage the jewelry, with that, I still wear a bracelet and JUC bracelet in the pool and I didn’t notice any damage.

    Out of yellow gold and rose gold, what would you suggest is sturdier? Since many mention that rose gold alloy has more copper making it sturdier?

    • @grace.dedito
      @grace.dedito  ปีที่แล้ว +8

      I actually did some research online about this! Based on my understanding, rose gold has a higher copper content and is therefore sturdier and more durable, whereas yellow gold is softer and more prone to dents and scratches.
      I currently have a yellow gold Cartier love bracelet, and I will say that it scratches fairly easily, but I also think that this is bound to happen since I wear the bracelet on my wrist and it'll occasionally get knocked on doors or the table. With the yellow gold VCA necklace, there is hardly any abrasion against hard objects so there are no scratches. So I think in terms of durability / sturdiness, you should consider this against the backdrop of what type of jewelry you're getting!
      Actually, the bigger consideration for most people is that because rose gold has a higher copper content, some people get allergic reactions from wearing rose gold jewelry. The "rosier" the rose gold is, the higher the copper content. So be careful if you have particularly sensitive skin (especially for earrings IMO).
      I hope this helps you! :)
