The cell signal there is great, especially with t-mobile which gets over 100mbps. Verizon in that area is very congested and can't handle it like t-mobile did. With that said, hotspot unit from Verizon may be a better option versus using your phone.
So glad you did this video! We are planning a stay at Topsail because we have heard good things. We will be staying at Grayton Beach later this season too, so we can compare!
Both parks are really nice. Topsail has much more to do within the park vs Grayton Beach but there is a great bike and running trail right outside the park at Grayton. All the best!
Looks like an interesting park - but yeah $40+? Right now in Central Texas with snow flurries today, I’d happily pay that (our water & electric lakeside site tonight is $12, but it is 🥶).
Right, $40 per night plus tax isn't bad except when compared to other Florida State Parks. To its credit, Topsail does have a lot of ammenities. Thanks!
How reliable was the beach transport?
When we were there it was running regularly. Seemed pretty reliable.
nice overview! Thanks for the details.
Glad it was helpful!

This is the area where I haven't explored yet. This preserve state park looks great hoping to camp there on my bike tour 👍🙂
Should be worth the trip!
Do you happen to remember what site number you had?
Site 127.

This one looks really nice. I see the similarities to Fort Wilderness. Nice job.
Thanks!
