Bother beaches were packed Las Arenas and Los Gigantes. Lol you cant make it up. Last time we were there it was Horrible and this it was the best weather weather we encountered since we came over to Tenerife lol

Puerto Rico in Gran Canaria is the most affordable resort most of the best bars are in the shopping centre but not much else in the resort. Island hopping good idea I think.
Just back from gran canaria usually go to tenerife in winter. Stayed in peurto rico, loads and loads of stairs everywhere apart from middle area which is 80s shopping centre dump,went to playa del ingles for few hours = absolute dated kharzi ,maspalomas is ok, Mogan is beautiful but you can do it in half a day.

Mogan is so pretty but very small, 2 big hotels up the back and not much other accommodation, as much as we loved it,I think I'd go mad there any longer than a week,best thing was ferry from PR marina to mogan. Weather was good apart from Thursday cloudy.
We were there in December for 8 nights (11th to 19th) and it was great in GDS and mixed in PDLA and Los Cris when we went over there - and very windy over there for a change. You must try Old Fashioned 1884 on San Blas, the best food that we have had in Tenerife.
Im going on the bus to PS tomorrow. We stayed in a studio in Tamaimo. i recall there is an outdoor rock pool you can sit in somewhere on a walk near LG x

Hi, shame that Amarilla Golf didn’t hit the spot. We found it relaxing, and not too expensive. For a great meal, we kept going back to La Mesa which is a bit further along the road than the Scorpio complex, in the Fairways, across the road from the Pebbles supermarket in the dip. Also, in San Blas, we enjoyed ‘Old Fashioned’ but the location, next to loud bars, isn’t the best. Shame, The food and service is great and the owners are genuinely loverly. Whatever you do, enjoy yourselves :)
Thanks Russell... Not heard of that restaurant in Fairways must say only walked past Fairways once... Not been in that shop in dip either but will later today... A resident here yesterday told us of a restaurant through The Palms resort called Waterfall so will be checking that out too xx

Its the Aries pool, virtually behind Christies reached from Calle Cornical or by walking past C. Cornical and turning left after the apartments just along the edge of the golf course. Lots of possibilities for adventures in between sipping beer :) Take care.
Another enjoyable vlog from you both. We actually like Lanzarote and have been quite a few times. We think Tenerife is more commercialised. Of course it is horses for courses. It's a good job we are not all the same.😊
Exactly what I'd say too... Everyone has different expectations for a holiday noone is the same thank goodness 😂.. But agree re Lanzarote there something nicer about it but then it was the first place abroad I ever went at 16 and I was wowed by it... Xx

Very interesting comments on Golf del Sur. I stayed in El Medano, just by the airport a good few years ago and found the weather the same as you have been finding it. That was in January. I found myself walking up to the main highway and taking the bus into Los Cristianos on a daily basis to escape poor weather. Indeed the buses at GDS / El Medano are very slow and why I took the fast buses.

The slow buses are ridiculous, stopping at every camel and bush. And bumpy, I never ever get carsick but once nearly was on the 473! The 477 from Adeje to los gigantes is manageable and more comfy, I think it's around 40ish minutes.
The weather here now is amazing, rain was forecast for 6? It’s very changeable isn’t. Sunderland v Fulham for Mark tonight then. I’m sure that we’ll be ok for tomorrow. Take care.

I remember when we used to do Benidorm at Christmas new year times , one year we were on the beach the next year it was cold and they had snow first time for 26 years 😂

Yes we went to Benidorm in October last I took no beach stuff as I thought no way will it be hot it was 28 degrees!! However friends there in Benidorm now its awful raining all the time... Known several friends who went to morrocco, and they did not have a pleasent stay what so ever. All in all, screaming shopowners grabbing you to Go to the shop and feeling unsafe every day

Excatly..tunesia, Egypt, Morocco and Turkey - we hadthe same experience. Thats why we enjoy Tenerife. Only the bag shops in Old part of Los Chris and the market in Los Chris, have sellers who are not our cup of tea, and we avoid going there Dont want to be screamed at, not want to listen to “ you look like..”. “I Will give you family discount” or anything Else. I want to deside what to buy, where to buy it, and from who. The people who want to sell “ by chasing me” are not anywhere i Will buy anything what so ever! Coming over in 2 days again for 3 weeks , this time to destination Costa Silencio/Las Galletas . Been Home one month, after 33 days in El Médano , wich we highly can recommend. I was there alone 10 days before my husband came for Christmas and new yr , and after he left to Go back to work again . I felt very Secure, walking alone also at night, and love Médano, the local feeling. The local people helping me if needed , a very good experience!
We've both been in our past lives 😂... I was pregnant at the time so that shows how long ago it was... We both didn't think much to it Mark went to in his younger days... But be nice to go and rejudge it x
Judy abd mark if your thinking about Grab Canaria I would stay away from Puerto Rico even though it is a nice resort there are many apartments built onto the hillside around the resort and if you think Los Cristianos had a CARDIAC hill you aint seen nothing like the hills in Puerto Rico --- taxis evertwhere !!!!!
Yes I've stayed at the apartment at the very top 😂 in Puerto Rico along time ago... I can't really remember if I moaned about the hill I was in my 20s long time ago xx
Seems like the weather has changed. Got back from Costa Adeje 2 weeks ago. Sunshine all the way and plenty to do. Tenerife has several micro climates so you can chase the sun but it does mean using the buses. Still better than the UK .
Think Egypt is good idea for at least 1 month because Tenerife gran canaria Lanzarote always have spells of dull or wet weather,but it's the money at the moment everywhere is expensive 👍🍻🥂☕
I have been to gran canaria i prefer tenerife but thats just my choice im sure u will enjoy where ever you decide have a slash out and buy mark 6 pints that will use your money up lol
It's around 48 euro a day... £300 a week... But we're not spending it... We eat out more than we should 😂 no we don't sit in bars all night I don't drink... Its different to a hol as we are here long stay you live like a local or we'd never be able to afford it... Money goes a long way here x

Difficult as some days we eat out or in some days spend more and everyone's personal expenditure is different... Some days don't spend anything if we stay by pool.. As long as you don't spend over your weekly budget... But it's now only £270 as just not using it.. Its something you'd need to personally decide.. Most importantly it depends on how much you can afford or have saved for your spending money for your 3 months away . Remember this doesn't include our bills for our outgoings ie, community charge standing charges insurances phone bills that's totally separate in another account to cover all the above for 6 months we don't work at the campsite ( we don't have a mortgage ) x
Del Sur ain't Del Carmen. I would say no. I do not intend to go back to that part. WIND. Hence why not developed before. (Jan says Jan is poor for 14 years..its been near 0c for weeks here!) Look for a deal in another part, perhaps the north of the island..very different climate and look. Will make for different videos, feel and take next time. Island hopping is a lovely idea. Also the world is very unstable and I have a trade contact in Turkey who is trying to get out of the country due to..reasons. Inflation is running real at 18%...2024 will be...exciting.

I went to Golf Del Sur in June one year and the weather was raining and overcast and it was hot and sunny in Los Cristianos the whole week

Really struggling with the bus app this year no problem last year... Say buses due then they don't turn up! When they do there packed..

Coming over in 2 days again for 3 weeks , this time to destination Costa Silencio/Las Galletas .
Been Home one month, after 33 days in El Médano , wich we highly can recommend. I was there alone 10 days before my husband came for Christmas and new yr , and after he left to Go back to work again . I felt very Secure, walking alone also at night, and love Médano, the local feeling. The local people helping me if needed , a very good experience!
I haven't been to Gran Caneria.
We've both been in our past lives 😂... I was pregnant at the time so that shows how long ago it was... We both didn't think much to it Mark went to in his younger days... But be nice to go and rejudge it x
Judy abd mark if your thinking about Grab Canaria I would stay away from Puerto Rico even though it is a nice resort there are many apartments built onto the hillside around the resort and if you think Los Cristianos had a CARDIAC hill you aint seen nothing like the hills in Puerto Rico --- taxis evertwhere !!!!!
Yes I've stayed at the apartment at the very top 😂 in Puerto Rico along time ago... I can't really remember if I moaned about the hill I was in my 20s long time ago xx
Seems like the weather has changed. Got back from Costa Adeje 2 weeks ago. Sunshine all the way and plenty to do.
Tenerife has several micro climates so you can chase the sun but it does mean using the buses.
Still better than the UK .

Think Egypt is good idea for at least 1 month because Tenerife gran canaria Lanzarote always have spells of dull or wet weather,but it's the money at the moment everywhere is expensive 👍🍻🥂☕

I have been to gran canaria i prefer tenerife but thats just my choice im sure u will enjoy where ever you decide have a slash out and buy mark 6 pints that will use your money up lol

Wow 38 pound a day do u guys eat out or drink out?
It's around 48 euro a day... £300 a week... But we're not spending it... We eat out more than we should 😂 no we don't sit in bars all night I don't drink... Its different to a hol as we are here long stay you live like a local or we'd never be able to afford it... Money goes a long way here x

You can rent a luxury condo in Thailand for around 300 dollars a month, I watched a couple of videos at the weekend, 👍🌞🙂

Yes certainly would.. Been a few times on day trips from Lanzarote.. So will do that again as can't really remember much quite awhile a go.. Just remember it was really windy xx

Difficult as some days we eat out or in some days spend more and everyone's personal expenditure is different... Some days don't spend anything if we stay by pool.. As long as you don't spend over your weekly budget... But it's now only £270 as just not using it.. Its something you'd need to personally decide.. Most importantly it depends on how much you can afford or have saved for your spending money for your 3 months away . Remember this doesn't include our bills for our outgoings ie, community charge standing charges insurances phone bills that's totally separate in another account to cover all the above for 6 months we don't work at the campsite ( we don't have a mortgage ) x

Del Sur ain't Del Carmen. I would say no. I do not intend to go back to that part. WIND. Hence why not developed before. (Jan says Jan is poor for 14 years..its been near 0c for weeks here!) Look for a deal in another part, perhaps the north of the island..very different climate and look. Will make for different videos, feel and take next time. Island hopping is a lovely idea. Also the world is very unstable and I have a trade contact in Turkey who is trying to get out of the country due to..reasons. Inflation is running real at 18%...2024 will be...exciting.
So many places so many choices lots of planning this year in between a very busy summer season xx
