Hi all, tremendous amount of tomatoes. They look so good. Poor mum, running over the connector. Something I would do. Thank goodness for a hubby and sons to help fix it. Good for you Lauren. A girl multi skilled, well done. All the clan working together, it’s just so good to see and entertaining. Take care all xxx
I am sure you all are whooped by the end of the day. Just watching you all pick makes my back hurt...and that is just the picking! Your hard work makes the gravy train! Keep up the awesome stuff!
Beet greens are great stir-fried or thrown into soups, etc--so nutritious! How blessed that you all are able to meet the 5+ servings of veggies per day recommendation--especially when food prices are going up up up this fall of 2021!
You made me laugh out loud when you grabbed Dad's ear. His sense of humor is spot on, and he's on the ball. Glad to see you gents can have some fun while working your butts off. Hoping this finds you well. I know it's an older vid, but trying to get caught up.
Have been binge watching all your past blogs. So sad to see I have almost caught up and will have to wait for new blogs. I would just like to say I am amazed at all the equipment your farm has. Just when I thought I had seen everything you bring out or tell us about another one. I love it!
Andrew does a fantastic job narrating these videos. I am not a farmer but watching your family videos, I look forward to doing something on a smaller scale.
Great video...nice to meet the relatives....even if it did take 4 time to get it right uncle! Looking at those short corn stalks it is amazing that they produce so well. Hard work being farmers of any kind, but veggies is certainly hard on the back. Thank goodness you have many hands to help. Thanks for taking us picking.
Know how touchy tomatoes can be. Loaded some tomatoes at the border in Arizona. The truck next to me was going to DC too. They were very green when loaded. I ran continuous air and still green at delivery the other truck swung the doors ,you couldn't miss the bright red . He finally admitted to running alternating air. He saved some fuel but it cost him a load of tomatoes. The temp and air flow not correct in transport you can loose produce easy. If your carrying 22 pallets valued between 1000 and 2000 $ a pallet adds up fast. So I'm seeing thousands in crow and water damage.
We have sold them before, I should have mentioned all these beets are for those who are canning and they didn’t want the greens, oh well too late now 😂
You guys are so funny. Thanks for answering my veggie question. I have another one for you. The tomato’s How do you get them to grow along the ground without growing up and flopping over and breaking the stems.
I've seen the jaunt commercial out fits grow thim right on the ground some are picked by machine and those produce all at once not continuously so they don't get off the ground because of how much is on the vienes.
Do you guys get orders for green tomatoes too? We all love fried green tomatoes. It's great how well you all work together and care about each other. So much fun watching the videos, such useful info, thanks!!
I love Dad! He always spice up the videos. Dad and Dan looks a high tec guys for maintainance of brocken stuffs. Just one point Andrew, that cob you showed us while on tractor might not be exactly due to moisture stress. It seems a pollination problem of the silks on that part of the cob(may be that part was obstructed from pollen arriving there).
Hey mate, love your videos! What do your days look like? Time you wake up and start and when do you knock off for the day? Do you work 7 days a week? Cheers!
Selling out is a good problem. Is the greenhouse used in the summer? Center Tarps can keep the noon sun in check. My lettuce is grown in semi-shade or it bolts.
We love your farm and family were are you in USA as we from Wolverhampton England are massive fans of yours god bless have a great weekend from Wolverhampton England 😆👍😄👍
Some of the comments asked why don't you save the tops of beets. I'm in the south and some are saved. Boil them in seasoned water and their good. It's like turnip, mustard greens. Maybe where you live, it's not a popular side dish.
When I was farming ,I r as used corn, okra squash green beans, as and watermelon and cantaloupe. Just couldn't get enough harvested to take care of customers. Sold to four different stores that sold nothing but produce . Tried to deliver to them ever day . Just couldn't keep up .
Deep South Bama with Mr. Tom Hey Mr Tom! I hope you have been well. The reason we twisted them off is when people order they tell us what they want, and these orders were tops off. We can sell them in the farm market, but the girls are so busy and it would be another job for them to do. Thank you for watching!
Hello, I watched all of your videos ... first thank you very much. I have a few questions, first where are you guys? how is the farm, shop, animals ... who makes lunch? ask your grandmother to show you the recipes? in a video, you showed the machine that picks potatoes, and I saw that it separated the stones to one side, and then the stones return to the floor, wouldn't it be better to collect the stones and remove them from the soil? Thank you very much, with love from Brazil
Saw in a previous video. You mentioned one of your family members make homemade pickles. Is there a place we could get the recipe and how to do it. Id love to try your style. Ive done a few different styles.
Ya, Dad loves the camera now in 2021, making 800k yr from just youtube, funny how everyone started warming up to the camera when it started making dough.
@@theveggieboys I think this person wants to know if you sell just the beet greens. The person who ordered the beets didn't want the greens but you could sell the greens.
Hi Andrew and Veggie Boys!
You just can't BEET your videos for education, entertainment and a good laugh!

Surprised to see you toss the beet greens. They are actually really good eating.

Ya dice thim up and put thim in salad.

Nobody eats the beat greens? Oh well I don’t either but where I live they always have the greens. I just love your dad Lol
Hello! We use them sometimes. Most of these beets were for canning. So most don’t want the greens. So we top them all :)
Blessings ❤️
Veggies looking great. I bought sweet corn yesterday after watching your videos. Lol 🌽 🍅 🌶 🚜
Do you guys get orders for green tomatoes too? We all love fried green tomatoes. It's great how well you all work together and care about each other. So much fun watching the videos, such useful info, thanks!!

It all depends on the work week and harvest time

Yea these beets were for canning orders so they specifically asked for no tops. They taste delish tho

Hey Andrew, hey I am sure you know you can eat beet greens. Many people love them so I was wondering why you twist them off?
