In this episode of Generations at the Table, Megann Marcellino continues the conversation on the Hebrew month of Shevat, focusing on the importance of seeking first the Kingdom of God and staying rooted in His instruction.
One way to do this is through practicing generosity. When we sow seeds of legacy into God’s Kingdom by sowing into the lives of others, we bless in the natural and in the spiritual. We see this in Tu BiShvat, the Jewish New Year for Trees, a practice of sowing into the Kingdom and stewarding God’s creation by planting trees in Israel. Generosity fosters a lifestyle of righteousness and postures our character to not only possess the promise land, but to maintain it with integrity. In this time of transition…

• Purpose to root out habits that do not foster a God-glorifying culture
• Seek God’s justice and bless others in the natural, as well as the spiritual
