I unfortunately only learned about Patricia after she passed away. She was an amazing talent on many levels and, of what I have seen, a bright young lady. This is my favourite of all her performances. She became the song, in a manner of speaking. The orchestra, which perfectly complemented Patricia, needs to be complimented. An excellent yet relaxed performance.
Im so sad, I searched for the song "voice of spring"sang by her from U tube for about one hour, I couldnt find it, because I watch that in U tube few years ago. Tonight I want to hear that song, search and search couldnt find it. then I go into coment, only knowing that she has passed away long ago. what Patricia has done in the years after this presentation, to put it in an elegant and simple way at the same time, is to polish perfection !!!, as if that were not impossible!
I already have her autograph. That's how lucky I am! Waited for her for one hour behind the theatre where she played a small role in a musical. After that time, I asked a woman who just came from the back door, if Patricia is still there. She looked at me in very suspicious way, turned on her heel and went back. After 10 seconds, she appeared again and Patricia followed her. She looked at me with her huge dark eyes and even tho she frowned at me a bit, I forgot what my goddamn name was. I asked her (took three attempts to pronounce that audibly) for the autograph. All the mistrust immediately disappeared from her face and a heavenly, sincere smile took its place. Like when the heavy dark clouds dissolve and the sun gets to shine again. She signed the program of the theatre play for me with a pen, which I haggled from a cashier in a nearby supermarket, as I of course forgot about that small detail when travelling 150 kms to see her live and get her autograph. I mumbled something like "Thank you, good luck!" and only started breathing again when I sat into the train back to Prague. it's the deaths of those like patricia that makes people question the existence of god! like many of her admirers i got to know of her when she appeared on cnn news winning 'talentmania' in 2010, singing 'once upon a time in the west,' aged 12! this led me to follow her career for the years to follow. one standout video for me was when she sang 'ave maria' & dedicated it to the people who were killed in a paris music venue 7 or 8 years ago! many people will associate her with 'the doll song' & 'meine lippen', of which there are several outstanding versions on you tube! it was always nice to hear her singing in english, something which would have benefitted her if she had taken to the theatre or films! i believe she would have been brilliant at playing the role of the princess in 'roman holiday', which was originally played by another beautiful human being, audrey hepburn!! thank you for your comments about patricia!@@headhunterke

have always respected Opera and classical music as the superior genres of music, but Opera in particular was never to my liking until I discovered Patricia, there is a certain special warmth in her voice that makes her accessible to the populorum, for the common of the mortals, I think she, is the best contribution that this very elitist genre has received ... in the last 50 years!

Her voice is perfect for opera . . . Mozart, Puccini, etc . . . and operetta . . . Lehar, Strauss . . . alike. Her precise articulation, the depth that is not ruined by dragging tambre, the sense of dynamics . . . this particular gracefulness reminds me a little of Martha Eggerth, for whom Lehar wrote some of his operetta music. Her dramatic timing and audience engagement is intelligent and prodigious.

Her voice is perfect for opera . . . Mozart, Puccini, etc . . . and operetta . . . Lehar, Strauss . . . alike. Her precise articulation, the depth that is not ruined by dragging tambre, the sense of dynamics . . . this particular gracefulness reminds me a little of Martha Eggerth, for whom Lehar wrote some of his operetta music. Her dramatic timing and audience engagement is intelligent and prodigious.

In addition to her amazing voice and beauty, her movements, expressions, and, as you said, her grace and charm, she has a maturity and professionalism beyond her years. And yet, it is not confining. She still manages to soar at a breath-taking level, not losing her youthful energy and joy. And, I find her joy totally captivating.
