I love these homes and if I had the money l wouldn’t hesitate to buy one. It meets all the needs for us as a retired couple. You could even put some together on a site as a retirement village or starter homes for the younger couples. They could stay a reasonable amount of time before they out grew it. But maybe an extension room for children could be added. A village of mixed aged has always been something I’ve wanted. Cutting the elderly off they lose so much and so do the younger generation. All that history they gets forgotten. The children who miss out on grandchildren would love it. If they don’t they wouldn’t live there. I wish you huge success always have good health and surrounded by people who love you and that you love. Please bring your builds to Scotland.

Stuff we hold to just in case we need them but actually don’t. All the clothes we have some too big loads too small. The reason being I might fit into these one day lol. Then all the stuff just accumulated over the years. When parents die more gets to live with you because of the memories it holds. Take a photo and get rid of it or sell it. To me it sounds like freedom only a small place to keep clean. Not much dusting as you have sold so much or donated stuff. Maybe you might need a small shed to store some tools etc. But it looks ready made for us.
I love these compact designs but they never take into account the practical amount of storage that people need. Everyone needs a coat closet near the front door, there doesn’t seem to be a laundry, where would you keep seasonal items like Christmas ornaments, where could you store a bike, light tools or pool equipment, where does my printer go for my computer?
@Jamie Reife... I agree. I think the design is beautiful, but I was thinking about all of the changes I would need to make if I lived here. I didn't see a refrigerator or a place for a microwave. I would want an island for the kitchen, a pantry area & a place for a dining table as well. No bookcases, no storage for DVD's, no linens or towel storage, etc. Actually, there is just not enough storage period. It looks like you could only fit one car in the driveway because of the placement of a planter ... and is that grass between the pavers in the front yard? I would have to maintain that grass; otherwise the fact that the yard areas are low maintenance is a big plus... But where would I store the yard equipment needed for maintenance. This design is very beautiful but not very practical.
I agree. I think designers/builders need to make better use of unused spaces. For instance, making islands and utilizing both sides of the island for cabinets storage would be awesome. Walls that could have been easily knocked in to make niches or small closets, using pocket doors to avoid doors opening into closets which takes up too much space would be nice! I have that issue in my newly build unit. Why make a door open into a closet...ridiculous!
I could imagine just getting a beachfront/oceanfront property and putting this exact building there. That would be my dream setup. Plus for $26k, the home itself is a great deal.

Good ideas, but I always change things aroud, like glassing in the driveway for a garage (all glass and sliding glass doors for more light) and extending the back bedroom out so the door to the bathroom is on the corner and not in the middle of the wall(to allow a tv and dresser there) and also add a walk in closet.

Beautiful and efficient design. Well done. I would make a few changes. One, in the front, I'd make the gates in front of the cars that the cars drive thru solid, so when closed, all that incredible openness front straight thru to the back is also private, people out front can't see into the house or on thru to the back. And two, I would make that hot tub a bit longer, maybe moving it to go right to left at the back end if more room is needed for the extra length, and convert it into a dual purpose, hot tub and jet powered lap pool where the jets allow you to swim in place so the pool doesn't have to be long (Or even better, convert and move that into a dual purpose jet powered lap pool that is deep enough, say 8' or 9' deep, so can also be used for treading water exercises in addition to lap swimming exercises, and then add a separate actual hot tub, maybe above grounds, somewhere else in the back area, this alternative would be my top choice since the deep pool would be great to have too). Beautiful, efficient and highly functional for the active, athletic lifestyle. Maybe the left side of the parking area as you are looking at the front I might add a roof to keep sun or rain off the car on that side, leave it open on the right side. And if one only has one car, you then have the option of keeping the car parked on the right and maybe putting exercise/workout equipment on the left side under the parking roof. Just an idea. One could even offer the alternative pool/hot tub design choices as options by the initial buyer if it hasn't been completed yet. Heck, the solid front garage doors could be an option too. One more idea, I'm a big guy, and i would suggest making the shower footprint larger, even if it's just adding a foot ideally two to to the left just taking up some of the empty space between the shower and the sink; a tad deeper would be great too even if just say 4-6" more towards the toilet, but I think more towards the sink would be easier to do without sacrificing the open feeling of that beautiful bathroom. My bathroom suggestions would work better in the first bathroom you see in the video than the second, but do what you can if any in the second too, even just a few more inches in the second would help, more if you redesigned the size of the wall behind the toilet. The bigger shower would help accent the Master bedroom side anyway, and small showers are a big negative for men, especially larger guys, but larger showers are appreciated by everyone, a big plus.
Why have a tiny pool? Just get a whirlpool tub/shower combo instead of tiny pool that waste chemicals and water and didn't like the toilet. I love the tiny home otherwise.
Very nice. As designs for sale, it's standard to have a workable home plan with closets and mechanical storage (HVAC). Else your just selling art vs a workable plan.

Bruh, there isn't even a refrigerator in the kitchen, of course there's not a laundry room. Also, his laughable $26,000 estimate wouldn't even buy the custom made sliding windows show in the rendering.
Nice house design I like the open concept the only thing I would change to save space and make it look bigger and fancy is to build the bedrooms on the second floor with a fancy stair you could build something like that for less than $300k in Latin America 😂❤ you could live like a CAPÓ or at least give that impression 😂

Very nice simple design. From experience, I would not have the pool deck and wrap around porch at the same level as the living room. Maybe step the deck down as well. Otherwise I very much like the concept.
They don't even have a closet for towels or any type of toiletries. The powder room would need to be turned into a closet for your jackets. You would definitely need a basement as well.

How can someone build without the blue print and only the floor plan?

How much are the floor plans for the 10 x 12 open plan
if you are only designer or architect, I was hoping more to create at low cost a little modern house for old man, was I wrong ?
