I actually really liked this series they didn't portray Hades as the villain like the guy did his job and minded his business and in this he did exactly that
Tbh I legit imagined Hades laughing his ass off while all of this happened while he and Persephone were drinking and eating. Dinner and show in hell. Lol
The game Hades has a pretty accurate depiction of him tbh. He's just a stern, no nonsense guy who's committed to his job, see's the rest of the Olympians as frivolous and is just sort of grumpy af all the time because there's so much work to do. I think the Hades = bad guy comes from a Christian interpretation of Greek mythology. As he's kind of seen as the Satan surrogate because he runs the underworld.
I'm not well versed in Greek mythology (I know some from playing Immortals), but I won't be surprised if many stories started because Zeus was too horny.

I know I’m late, Hera is the goddess of marriages, fidelity, and oaths. Whenever Zeus cheated on her, it drove her nuts. The concept of Unfaithfulness makes no sense to Hera as that is her opposite.
Further, Zeus wanted her hand in marriage so badly he was willing to grape her to get it. And she only accepted his proposal to avoid that "shame." It's theorized that this is why Ares is the god of War and has such a bad temper - because he was created out of the worst crime anyone can commit. I agree that Seraphim is _"a"_ victim...but I don't feel like it's fair to call him the "only true" victim; afterall, Heron had no control over his birth or the actions which led to his birth, so he is _also_ a victim...albeit one who was fortunate enough to have a support system in the form of his deity dad and human mom. And people may not agree, but truthfully Hera and the King are victims, too; victims of adulterous spouses and the resulting heartbreak (although some may argue that they took their vengeance "too far") . But I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree that Seraphim sadly did _not_ have the same level of support on _his_ end as what Heron did, and Seraphim didn't deserve such an awful fate. Nor did he deserve to be played as a pawn on a chessboard. Even the ending seems to imply that he will continue to be used. Sadly, it seems that his very existence knows no peace.

Seraphim's whole life was sh*t after his caretaker got killed. And the reason why I used "true victim" is cos even after his death, Seraphim is still getting fucked up and this time by Hades.

This anime, really made me cry, at the near end, before Zues died, saving Hera, once again from a giant. It was kind of sad to see this honestly. Hope there is more of this anime in near future hopefully. Would be nice to see more of this story unfold, and make villains out of it in the long run too.

The Anime is pretty great. Finally Hera giving *Zeus* some punishment for being unloyal to her instead of the poor women he seduced. Also I love how Hades is the neutral guy who doesn’t do anything against the God Civil War since he knows his Siblings are all idiots.
The absolute unit not getting wounded or attacked. I won't be surprised if he is the next villain in the next season since most of the gods are wounded and bruised. Easy pickings if Hades decides to go Rouge.

The pretext would be Hades getting fed up with the God's and Godesses doing childish things that nearly destroyed the balance between God and men he finally decided to make them either submit or be killed. Since most of the God's are wounded they flee and find some mystical object or maybe find his wife Persephone to quell his anger or something.

He gives Zeus two choices: either to die and give the throne to him or to permanently stop interfering with the humans. Zeus chooses the latter thus “ending” Greek mythology or rather the god’s interference with humans. It’s more likely to be Aries. Plus the prophecy only pertains to the sons, so Athena could not be the next heir to the Olympian throne. If Aries didn’t take the throne for himself, it would be another one of Zeus’s *sons*

I think its a good series and I know its someone else's interpretation of Greek myth and it is good but knowing how Zeus really is in myth it always peeved me how Zeus "loved" his mum, when Zeus was practically a sex crazed maniac sleeping with any pretty woman he saw whether they consented or not and that rule where the gods aren't allowed to interfere made me annoyed too because if you look at all the stories of Greek heroes they've pretty much nterfered with nearly every single event, especially aphrodite

One story involves Hera, Poseidon and Hephaestus betraying Zeus for being a dick, getting chained up and having to ask for help from the Cyclops' to set him free so he can get back at Hera. Another involves Zeus asking Heracles to help the gods fight the giants cause they were too much of a threat, even for them. The monster known as Typhon wrecked Zeus so hard that he nearly killed his ass in their first battle, needing Hermes and some others to save him. There's many other gods that Zeus straight up fears because their roles can mess him up or they're more powerful than he is. Eros, Nyx, Hecate and Aphrodite are such gods. Zeus may be in charge, but he's far from being the most powerful among the Greek Gods.

Yes, I think Zeus is stronger but not the strongest. By the myth, that position would belong to the primordial gods (or something like that or was it titans?). Anyway, it's the generation before Zeus that Zeus, Poseidon, Hades defeated.
I like to think Charon was watching all of this go down already preparing for the migraine of his eternal life escorting all these people while Hades is just omnisciently snacking on Greek popcorn loving every second of the drama. I also like to think all of this went down while Persephone was travelling all the way back to the Underworld, sees the aftermath and is like "What the literal hell just happened here!?!"

Most of Hera's actions are justified but at the same time not. I get that she's angry but at the same time taking your anger out on a child when you can just take it out on your own husband it's his fault anyways. I mean you can't just hate the child, just because he's born due to the mistakes of his father that's just selfish and petty. While you could be doing this to get back at him but the way I see it all you're doing is making yourself look more like the villain. Heck, Athena is probably better. Makes me wonder if you would do this to your own child if you are angry at Zeus . For someone who says they're a goddess you should know that you and Zeus are immortal that means All Humans will die and he will only be yours or you could just make all female women ugly.

I can't speak for modern Hellenistic beliefs but in ancient greek mythology there *are* weapons capable of slaying immortals, such as the scythe or harpe used to slay Uranus.

The pretext would be Hades getting fed up with the God's and Godesses doing childish things that nearly destroyed the balance between God and men he finally decided to make them either submit or be killed. Since most of the God's are wounded they flee and find some mystical object or maybe find his wife Persephone to quell his anger or something.

This show was cool. This and Seis Manos deserve a second season or more. Underrated shows, imo.

He gives Zeus two choices: either to die and give the throne to him or to permanently stop interfering with the humans. Zeus chooses the latter thus “ending” Greek mythology or rather the god’s interference with humans. It’s more likely to be Aries. Plus the prophecy only pertains to the sons, so Athena could not be the next heir to the Olympian throne. If Aries didn’t take the throne for himself, it would be another one of Zeus’s *sons*

I think its a good series and I know its someone else's interpretation of Greek myth and it is good but knowing how Zeus really is in myth it always peeved me how Zeus "loved" his mum, when Zeus was practically a sex crazed maniac sleeping with any pretty woman he saw whether they consented or not and that rule where the gods aren't allowed to interfere made me annoyed too because if you look at all the stories of Greek heroes they've pretty much nterfered with nearly every single event, especially aphrodite

One story involves Hera, Poseidon and Hephaestus betraying Zeus for being a dick, getting chained up and having to ask for help from the Cyclops' to set him free so he can get back at Hera. Another involves Zeus asking Heracles to help the gods fight the giants cause they were too much of a threat, even for them. The monster known as Typhon wrecked Zeus so hard that he nearly killed his ass in their first battle, needing Hermes and some others to save him. There's many other gods that Zeus straight up fears because their roles can mess him up or they're more powerful than he is. Eros, Nyx, Hecate and Aphrodite are such gods. Zeus may be in charge, but he's far from being the most powerful among the Greek Gods.

Yes, I think Zeus is stronger but not the strongest. By the myth, that position would belong to the primordial gods (or something like that or was it titans?). Anyway, it's the generation before Zeus that Zeus, Poseidon, Hades defeated.

I also like to think all of this went down while Persephone was travelling all the way back to the Underworld, sees the aftermath and is like "What the literal hell just happened here!?!"

Most of Hera's actions are justified but at the same time not. I get that she's angry but at the same time taking your anger out on a child when you can just take it out on your own husband it's his fault anyways. I mean you can't just hate the child, just because he's born due to the mistakes of his father that's just selfish and petty. While you could be doing this to get back at him but the way I see it all you're doing is making yourself look more like the villain. Heck, Athena is probably better. Makes me wonder if you would do this to your own child if you are angry at Zeus . For someone who says they're a goddess you should know that you and Zeus are immortal that means All Humans will die and he will only be yours or you could just make all female women ugly.

I can't speak for modern Hellenistic beliefs but in ancient greek mythology there *are* weapons capable of slaying immortals, such as the scythe or harpe used to slay Uranus.
