They keep on changing songs live, mashing up tracks, making even the most micro-level additions like changes to the tail of a guitar riff, adding a harmony line to it.. it just never ends with these guys does it. Absolutely amazing.
Literally every performance of a song is different. That's the beauty of this band. They are such good musicians that thinking isn't even part of the equation. Just ebbing and flowing all together in sync for 2 hours
It's soo good. I wonder if it's a result of pushing albums out so quickly has anything to do with it? They would rather perfect a song after the studio recording instead of letting it mature for a year or two beforehand.
@@mrsusan893 I think this is partially right and just the fact that they love playing music all the time and jam with eachother all the time makes them so talented at what they do. It's very clear that they love what they do and have fun being loose and creative.
Thank you for this. Of all the shows I have ever been to, I have never been to one that was filmed and mixed professionally. To see this performance immortalized and know I was in the crowd somewhere is just awesome. It really helps me relive the moment!
its strange seeing cavs get angry like he did before robot stop. seems like they we're gonna do lava with the bass melody, so it's weird why they decided to switch up to robot when lava would have closed perfectly unless the setlist had a few songs left and they just picked one at random.
Lately all I've been listening to are all of these clips from the tour. This is fucking sick, we're living in peak gizzard and it'll stay that way for a long time. Hoping for a bootleg release on this 3:47
Orb, Stonefield, Murlocs, and even Leah are some of the best openers Gizzard could get... But man they might have to go with the full Jam style and do 2 sets a night on 4 hour windows (7 to 11 a night)
could you do the full dripping tap with the intro jam from remlinger night 2? its probably too much but its what ive been waiting on to see, your a legend man

Every single performance is different and it’s absolutely beautiful. Only other band I’ve seen do this successfully is Swans.
Confused Stu is a legend!

They almost sounded like Umphrey's Mcgee for a minute! These guys cover a lot of ground.
