- Hi! As the game is finally officially available, I've decided to share my own experience from the game from beginning to End.
I did absolutely everything from the game, recorded all the important stuff. If you don't want to get spoiled althought it's from a game that already existed, don't go on the internet.
I hope you appreciate my videos content, not an easy task to do but I'm here now.

Honestly Nemona might be my new favorite rival. Unlike other friendly rivals, Nemona is already a super strong trainer who’s practically a champion but the only reason why she at your level is because she wants to handicap herself so she can build you up into her perfect rival. In other words, she had your back the entire time so she can finally have a worthy opponent. That’s really cool.

At first i though she was just a yandere, But then i play through the post game
Nemona's love for battling actually caused a problem and alienated her from people who could become friend in the academy as they are too intimidated by her prowess and Champion rank to actually befriend her.
When she saw Us having the potential to beat her, she was excited at the prospect of having an equal and wanted to see us grow stronger as a trainer.
She isn't a yandere, She is just lonely and want a friend/rival

What's weird about this they have the sleep animation down when you let your Pokémon idle for a while until they actually go sleep in your picnic. Maybe there's an glitch that prevents their eyes closing when they got asleep status in battles.
There's only one true champion of Paldeia. And we're fighting for it!

Geeta and Nemona aren’t the transitional champions. Nemona isn’t the only one student to defeat top champion Geeta before player. Geeta wants a lot of students to defeat her for getting champion rank, and that’s why this is called champion test. Even player defeats Geeta and Nemona, they are still champions. Champion rank is like a certification of battle ability.
Ah so they treat champions like a graduation ceremony of battle Ability.

I have a feeling I'm really going to like Nemona. She seems like such a charming character, and her cutscene animations are fantastic and brimming with so much personality!

Also, i respect her for using Midday Lycanroc, my favorite Lycanroc form.
I personally think that she’s a lovely character and really, really love Nemona a lot!!! (I personally think having a young male teenager that’s anime exclusive yet very challenging and kindhearted like Cynthia would be nice to see in the future!!!) 🤯💛

Reminds of Blue in the kanto games. Where blue becomes champion (briefly), and you player defeats him to become champion.
Except in this case, Blue has been Champion since before you ever got your Starter, and he's a girl, AND she isn't a colossal douchebag.

I love her battle theme sm it kinda gives me Lisia vibes but with a more typical rival flaire
One of the things I like about this battle and theme (apart from the sick opening riff) is that it feels like the final battle of the Victory Road story. Like the first rival champion battle Red v Blue had an epic battle music, this one is epic in a different mode. It's more hopeful and at the same time is full of emotion between a good friend and rival. Nemona matches her theme as they both held back a lot
Nemona is one of my all time favorite Pokémon characters
I wonder if this character will be Ash's main rival of sorts in the next anime season?
Apparently not because Ash is officially done in a few more episodes

Nemona is the reason why it made me feel like Toby Fox had a hand in the characters and not just a lot of the music.

Nemona is without a doubt my favorite rival in the history of Pokemon games, and after learning about her backstory, I love her even more. Unlike traditional rivals, she's already a champion, and every student at the academy is scared of her because of how strong she is and think of her as a prodigy. Thus, she becomes an outcast at the academy and is lonely. She's even an outcast in her family, since her parents are focusing on preparing her older sister to run the multi million dollar company they own. When you move in down the street from her, she can see from when you first meet her the love that you have for Pokemon, and immediately gets excited over the idea that maybe one day, you could be the ONE to finally match her strength. Every battle she partakes in, she has to hold herself back, and that mentally drains her. So her priority becomes ensuring that YOU, her only friend, would be the trainer to stand up to her at her strongest. She trains alongside you, meticulously planning which team to use at each level you're at as you progress through the Victory Road challenge. She had your back as you rose to become the dream rival that she never had before. Once you become champion, the very same title Nemona has, you reached her level. You battle her with everything you have, and she battles you with everything she has. Her nearly crying tears of joy after you beat her when she was trying her hardest in a battle for the first time in ages really shows how happy she is to finally have someone to challenge her at her strongest. And at the end of the day, at the game's core plot point, finding your treasure, becoming a champion was NOT Nemona's treasure. Nemona's treasure all along was you. Someone who could challenge her, someone who would have her back, someone who could put in the same amount of effort into becoming as strong as she is, someone who shared the same love and passion she has for battling, a true equal. YOU are Nemona's greatest treasure. And when you look at the bigger picture of this battle, this really isn't your battle. This is Nemona's battle, her battle to be able to let loose and not hold back, something extremely liberating for her, knowing now that you, her only friend, can match her strength. That's why I love Nemona so much as a rival.
There is a portion of the BG music that sounds a bit like when Kyogre starts flooding the shit out of Hoenn lol

In Paldea Champion is a rank where multiple trainers hold the title of Champion, Nemona is one of those trainers, with Geeta being the TOP Champion, with her being the League Chairwoman and anyone who defeats her gains the Champion rank.

Why are Goodra's eyes open while sleeping? Really they couldn't have sleeping mons shut their eyes?
Gamefreak decided to not have the eyes close whenever a pokemon was inflicted with sleep.

Because it's not an official league battle, it's a ceremonial battle, there's nothing at stake, it's just 2 rivals having fun after completing their goals.

Hpw i beat nemona easily:
1. Gen 4 dragon that can only be killed with fighting type moves but is faster and powerful and had given steroids to specificly kill fighting types
2. Duck that looked like josuke that became angry and killed the fire croc with bird 2 times
3. Fast ghost knight that i had given a quick claw just to outspeed the worm and just to drinks it's hp
4. Poyo with hammer i had been spamming draining kiss for a while and it has the hp stealing boost item too
5. Electric froggo blasted her pokemon and i had been using it's reflect and my ghost knight's light screen too be much defensive over her mons
6. Cute Muddy poison axolotl which i used to scatter it's poison legos on her side and use grass type moves which also speeds the axolotl up.
and feeding my team drugs from the chansey supply store

Right now, I think Leon would be the one to win. Being older, more experienced in battle (he's 25, and Nemona seems to be 16 at best; Leon was already Galar Grand Champion while she was still in diapers), and also (in the anime), he has faced Trainers all around the world, so he's used to different battle styles and gimmicks.
But, in a few years, I think Nemona might surpass him. She's become Paldea Champion at a very young age by world's standards (being one for at least a few years, apparently), and Paldea Grand Champion, La Primera, Geeta claims that Nemona might be even more competent and might that herself, which already says something about her.
Both, however, despite being perhaps the best Trainers of their generation, are also humans; kind humans, in fact. For them, the results aren't the most important (maybe for Leon a bit, especially when his Championship title was on the line), but bonds, emotions and friendship. They wish to not only develop themselves, but to give others a true spectacle of power and beauty.
I don’t think Nemona is the only one student to defeat top champion. You should understand what top champion talked to player. Top champion want many students to defeat her for getting champion rank and this is champion test.

Leon is for the moment the strongest champion canonically, unless they change their minds with this game, so for the moment Leon defeats her with mid difficulty.

Its funny how the battle looks so easy you had to use non very efective moves or switch pokemon often to make the battle longer

I hate how much of a crutch they give you. The friendship mechanic is dumb like the Pokémon shouldn’t live on one up like that’s so stupid. Also you should get to switch when you knock out a pokemon

I think the sv starters are a bigger letdown than the ss starters, and I already strongly dislike those designs. I feel as a whole the character and pokémon direction for these games are hella mid.
You and I think the same. I argued that the evolutions of the starters should look intimidating but after Sun and Moon they have looked the complete opposite. The starter evos of SV look to be honest like complete pushovers. Compare them with Charizard,Blastoise,Feraligatr,Typholsion,Blaziken,Infernape,Torterra,Empoleon and so many more

@@jenzices Well cry about it, he's stronger than her, is that simple, and using game mechanics as an argument is hilarious, as levels are nothing more than game mechanics, example: Red has his stronger Pokémon at 88 in HGSS, but then in Sun & Moon (that happens years after that and he was still training) he has now a team of 50s, but that team is the same but years of experience after, meaning that levels mean nothing.
