    * 200k a year would be like 10 hours a day every day. I do t have that kind of desire anyways so I would never make that much. That’s an estimated upper limit.

1k per day, 5 days per week, 50 weeks per year is 250K, with weekend off. I understand that 1K is a very good day, but the more work you do, the more word gets out, and the more new clients you have for more consistent pay. If you get too busy you can raise your prices. That is easier said than done, at least I know I hate the billing part of being self employed.

One the of the main keys to being able to support yourself with TH-cam is diversity of income. TH-cam add money should be 30-50% of the income stream, then sponsorships, merchandise, and patreon(and TH-cam membership) to fill in the rest, roughly in that order. They key is finding the right sponsors that align with your goals and mission for the channel and bring value to subscribers/members that support you.

I don’t recommend doing mobile mechanic work, it’s too much hassle. Customer not paying you or watching you as you work. It’s better to open a shop. A lift is a must when working on cars it makes your job a lot easier. You can’t pay me enough to crawl under a car or even squat doing the brakes. If their car can’t be driven they tow it to my shop, and after it’s fixed up they have 3 days to pick it up or they pay 25 dollars a day

He was getting teslas and parting them out and rebuilding them and learning the car in the process. How hard is it to become a tesla technician and then how much ass do you have to kiss to keep the job. If you are a learning mechanic, the best way to learn is by tearing down junked cars.
