Ayra didn't die in the Battle of Belhalla, but a few early sources claimed she did. She faced the same as Lachesis, which is being captured by the Loptyr sect and turned into stone.

David Hill she's alive, in fire emblem 5, on chapter 4, once it ends it shows Veld's room with Manfroy there, in his room there is a Mage knight(Azel) a dismounted female paladin(Lachesis) a dismounted promoted horse unit(possibly Lex) and a female sword master(Ayra)
If Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War gets represented in the Super Smash Bros. fighter roster, it will break the tradition of a Fire Emblem game being represented by the main Lord due to similarity to Marth, including weapon design similarity. It may also get the Fire Emblem Awakening treatment, having two representatives. Ayra (who is credited for starting the current form of Swordmaster class and the Astra skill) would be a starter fighter, while Arvis would be an unlockable fighter. Ayra also inspired part of Marth’s moveset. She’d also get her own victory fanfare, based off of the jingle when Seliph captures Ribaut Castle, which is in her homeland Isaach.
@@abiolaadedeji1868 More like representing the Myrmidon/Swordmaster class. The moveset would draw from the attack patterns of the Myrmidon class across the Fire Emblem series, which are vast enough to come up with a moveset.
The only reason why Masahiro Sakurai and co. may not want to do that is the character’s position in the game’s plot, and Fire Emblem’s representation history. If it were to happen, Ayra would most likely be praised by Smash players with an open mind, and would be far from just another Fire Emblem rep. I’ve already worked up a moveset. Sigurd would be an Echo Fighter and just another Fire Emblem rep. Also, Fire Emblem could have more reps with unique movesets and play styles, not more who fight similar to a previous rep.

I love how Quan and Ayra interact in Ch1. Its the interactions from the side characters that makes the story flow so naturally.
Very intense and proud, very fitting for the theme of Ayra and Shannan, two badass swordmasters.

I've heard from one source that she was tortured to death. Not sure about it though.
