How to make a really quick template for a flush pull handle. I mount a section of timber onto the template and use this to rout out doors in situ. Once you have made this template you can use it over and over again

Fab - easiest template for this type of pull handle. The battery powered routers are fab these days, much easier to handle than the big heavy duty versions on the market!

An equivalent mains router is lighter

    • @peters8858

@@SingleTrack66 : Not if you have a Festool OF-2200 like I do which is 7.8kg (without attachments or bits) and Robin’s Milwaukee Router (which I think is the M18 Fuel Trim Router) with a battery pack is 3.6kg which is over half the weight of my 240V mains powered router. Don’t get me wrong, I love my Festool but it’s a bit cumbersome to do quick fire tasks like this!

the possibilities with those small palm routers is endless, i put of buying one for months but use it everyday now.
Also would it be possible for you to post a video on pricing a job, there's not really much on youtube, I'm wanting to take on bigger jobs such as bar to flat conversions and block extensions, but not too sure where to start

So if we are using these on a pocket door that is located between a bedroom and bathroom. Therefore there will need to be a pull installed on each side of the door. Will the pulls “butt up” against each other in the center of the hollow door then?

Hi Julie, They will not meet but they will be connected by their trough fixings, there is a thin flanged rim that stops them from falling right through
