The English voice actors did a really good job! Especially the hitsuba freak out scene!
When I watched Toilet Bound Hanako- Kun for the first time, I watched the english. I love the english, after I watched Toilet Bound I started watching Toilet Bound videos on TH-cam. When I heard the Japanese version, I also fell in love with it. I can watch either one, I love the voices in both. Even though some of the voices sound completely different 😂😅❤️

I think the English and Japanese voices captured the characters perfectly! Just in different ways. An example, Tsukasa is Japanese sounds more cute, and in English, more creepy! I think it’s a good example of his creepy-cute personality.

Although Mitsuba's voice doesn't suit him at all, you can't say his voice actor did a bad job. He grasped Mitsuba's energy so well, had every emotion in his voice, it's just that his voice is too deep for Mitsuba, and that's not his fault.
Actually I think this might have been what the casting director wanted
One reason is to show that feminine appearing men are actually men to the audience
Another reason is to establish that the character is not happy with their appearance being feminine such that the character deepens their voice on purpose

I like both it captures the character well. In English he switches from a softer spoken to more aggressive gruff course speech which shows how his looks and his personality don't match but he does play into his looks and has a bit of an ego for it when he's feeling confident....but is also terrified of a lot of things especially with that intro I can only assume he's experienced plenty of unwanted uncomfortable male advances

I almost always watch anime in sub, but when I was watching this with my bro we watched dub cause that's what he likes to watch. Honestly both are sooo good! There are different things emphasized in each one and it depends on preference. Personally I still like the sub, but the dub is also amazing.

Well, most kids tend to grow a deeper voice by the age of 14, (Most 14-year old boys I know have already developed a surprisingly deep voice) so I would say some of the characters are pretty accurate.
