The very beginning of leagues is one of the most fun parts imo, you click a tree and get like 10 woodcutting levels or train on some cows for fast levels and peak nostalgia. There's tons of people everywhere making it feel super alive. I'm just gonna log on and relish that because it will be over super fast even without a route or plan.
I totally agree! The amount of energy on that first day is unlike anything else, maybe next to like a new raid coming out or something. Really makes it feel like an mmorpg instead of a single player game where there happen to be other people.
A note, since you'll have your gathering relics already, you can throw the tool on and use the special attack and iirc that counts for the special attack task. At least in last leauges they had the special attacks that like the dragon/crystal tools normally do. I assume that hasn't changed.

Since you're doing daddy's home you'll end up with a bit of extra gp. You may consider pickpocketing a little more to get to 2k. Buy a bone dagger in lumby for the spec. Not sure if that'll be worth the time investment though cause I think you'll need ~400 gp still. Would be a lot of citizen coin pouches lol. Edit: Ooo wait, you can sell the daddy's home reward junk to the general store. There ya go. Keep your cash stack up a bit.
@ sounds good. Gonna pick up thieving relic so gp won’t be a problem. I would want to get 38 thieving before I go to draynor just to pickpocket some master farmers and while doing thieving i’m getting alt ready with same route and points also -> alt is going to be mostly afking karambwans with equilibrium.

I’m thinking about skipping the pickpocketing till I unlock the second relic. It will prevent me from bringing food since I’ll get the thieving relic. It will be easier and has a higher exp multiplier
There is enough room to skip it. You may get the total level slightly later without those lvls but I think you still pick up enough of the other tasks.
@@YewJackOSRS To add to my previous comment, with the Thieving relic, there are a 2 men and 2 women in front of Bob's Axe shop. This will speed up the coin purse task if you can clump them together

Hello, I love the guide but it seems you've missed out some important points. Which tasks are the best to do when quickly switching to mobile and going to the toilet? Or while eating? Or to afk while taking micro naps? Or while I'm at work while operating on my patients?
Uh, don't play while operating lol. Besides that I think the tasks you go for are whatever lines up with your gathering relics. Basically get all the afk stuff up to 99. Fishing/Cooking for harpoon. WC/Fletch/FM for axe. Mining isn't really afk still so that one doesn't help much. Thieving one makes thieving pretty afk.
After you teleport with Count Check it is worthwile to visit the longhall and grab a beer then drink it there for another 10 points. Also some food is there for grabs
Gl! I think if you're able to account for what relics they will pick up then you can do some fun stuff. While they haven't technically confirmed the point thresholds, I'd expect the first unlock to be pretty similar to last year (500 points). If you plan for maybe ~600 points that should allow some leeway. Then you can do some relic specific stuff for T1 and T2 relics.

Pro tip, you want the save 95% runes and arrows asap, so you can train on random monsters as you run around the world. This grants you passive Magic Defence Range and Hitpoints, increasing your chances to tank hits above 10 which will happen durning this route.

You open up the area menu and you'll be able to teleport to karamja through there. Everyone gets a free tele to their unlocked areas with no CD. Just used the home tele animation so it is a bit slow compared to a direct tele if you have something else.

At least for these first few days I'm mainly enjoying the league and streaming my progress. I was thinking I may do some week one thought on the weekend or something. My content plan was very concrete in the lead up to leagues but now I'm much more in free flow mode.
You should spawn in with the dramen staff by default. If for whatever reason you don't have it, you can likely talk to the sage in lumby to get it. If it's not with the sage you can also check perdu who I think is in one of the lumby castle gate towers one floor up.

If you haven't already, you could make a copy of the google sheet linked in the description and make whatever changes to it you like (or just mark certain tasks as skipped to see how that impacts your totals at the bottom). Granted, you're surely several hours in at this point so probably not all that helpful by now lol.
This might sound kind of silly but what is the point of rushing With games like escape from tarkoff , there is a Player to player economy that You can make more money from the faster you get ahead but with everyone being iron men what is the Benefit of trying to do everything fast
Good point! I do think a big part of the league is actually being inefficient but having fun because of all the perks. In this case it's usually to get you your t2 relic and first region while avoiding competition. These guides are most valuable if you're starting leagues as soon as it drops.
Most people like to rush because again this is a timed event and doesnt transfer so people will do what they want and they quit. Usually within the first month or so.
Personally I like using these as a more convenient task guide, not to rush through it, but mostly because I find the task UI pure evil chaos that I would rather not navigate on day 1. Bunch of clannies will be rushing tf out of this because they have limited time to play, even took days off this week, so I guess that would be one reason to go ham from the start.

I'm sorry but you've missed the mark like almost every single other youtuber. You didn't include 'kill a giant' in your 'day 1' route, even though that's clearly a MUST for this league. You can't just focus on tasks. You gotta unlock the combat masteries. And killing a giant is definitely one of those tasks you HAVE to include. Perhaps even using your money to buy runes to kill 10 tzhaars could be on there, in order to unlock t2 combat masteries on day 1.
I couldn't recommend killing a giant in this because if I did I think it would be too crowded. It would also slow the pacing. I talk about this a little bit with doubleshine (in my vid later today). If you do want to kill a giant I'd recommend killing moss giants in karamja somewhere. Next to the gold mine and in brimhaven dungeon there a lot. Hillies could maybe work in varrock but probably going to be busy.
The combat mastery doesn't have to be the first thing you do. More than enough tasks to get you to 8x without touching combat. If it is that's obviously fine, but Jack is showing players an efficient first hour. No way they don't kill a giant in the first day.
I cut my walk out of the vid but there are tons and tons of rooms with each in it. You can walk past that first room if it's crowded. I think there are 3-4 rooms on your way to the center of the first floor with goblins/rats.

Just a note for Animal Wrangler players: Since you can't normally burn food with Animal Wrangler, just use cooked food on a range. It will burn.

Slayer masters are all treated the same, so you can get tasks from any master at any time during leagues.

How do i get into Zanaris? (looked up another vid, had to have a staff from the beginning "dreamen staff and walk into the hut)

I'm sorry but you've missed the mark like almost every single other youtuber. You didn't include 'kill a giant' in your 'day 1' route, even though that's clearly a MUST for this league. You can't just focus on tasks. You gotta unlock the combat masteries. And killing a giant is definitely one of those tasks you HAVE to include. Perhaps even using your money to buy runes to kill 10 tzhaars could be on there, in order to unlock t2 combat masteries on day 1.

I couldn't recommend killing a giant in this because if I did I think it would be too crowded. It would also slow the pacing. I talk about this a little bit with doubleshine (in my vid later today).
If you do want to kill a giant I'd recommend killing moss giants in karamja somewhere. Next to the gold mine and in brimhaven dungeon there a lot. Hillies could maybe work in varrock but probably going to be busy.
The combat mastery doesn't have to be the first thing you do. More than enough tasks to get you to 8x without touching combat. If it is that's obviously fine, but Jack is showing players an efficient first hour. No way they don't kill a giant in the first day.
Killing a rat and goblin in the stronghold will be a nightmare in the first couple hours 😂
I cut my walk out of the vid but there are tons and tons of rooms with each in it. You can walk past that first room if it's crowded.
I think there are 3-4 rooms on your way to the center of the first floor with goblins/rats.
