Thank you I’m 5 months in and i have mt good days and not so great days with my hair! The expectation I had completely when out the window because my hair is doing what it wants. The bunching I think is my biggest hurdle and not having control. It’s teaching me about letting go and having patience and really trusting the process. Thank you for this video
Thanks for this vid … first off your hair is gorgeous!!!🥰🥰🥰 Our hair texture is similar & omg! You said it the perimeter keeps on unraveling it’s like my curliest lol! Thanks beautiful for an update !!!🦋💜❤️💜❤️🦋 I am going on 3months loc’d this vid gives me hope!
Thank you Soooo much! I am 50% there with locking but really wanted to get someone’s perspective from start to finish; especially with hair close to mine (I have like 4 different textures from 3b to 4b)😂! Thanks for being transparent to showing every aspect!
It was the best decision for me. I had to be in front of the camera a lot and was manipulating my hair too much at first. The extensions helped a lot with that for me
Thank you so much. Those first few months were the ultimate struggle, but I’m in a good place with it now. I do loc updates in my tiktok if you’re ever curious and want to keep up with the journey
Everyone journey us different, i am a curly natural and one day want locs (i love watching yannie from Trini on yt ) the interloc is not for me but you look fab Queen. The sotying under dryers and gel is a no no for me.but Sista Queen you are looking great ...thanks for sharing
The perimeter is never going to loc that’s your new growth and is naturally going to come out my hair grows away from my locs as well and I’m 4 years in now
were you able to still wash your hair when you did the faux locs? did they just wrap hair around your budding locs and create a loc past that for length? i like your style but i wouldn't be able to not wash my hair for 6 months if that's the case
You know, I didn’t actually wash my own hair when I first started. I was afraid that if I washed it on my own, they would come down. Here’s a link to the video of me starting my locs. It shows my first wash: th-cam.com/video/ccBKNyy7b00/w-d-xo.html

I begin my journey this weekend and you have me reconsidering the comb coil method. Your hair is beyond beautiful ♥️♥️♥️
Ok I need part 2 now lol 😂
I promise it’s coming in July 🖤

Thank you for these 🥲 I’ve been so hesitant about starting but I’m getting there! Ok part 2 pls 😂
I have hair similar to yours, and interlocking was the best thing I did for my locs. It stayed!!!
My hair is the EXACT same way… this texture does what the *&$# it wants… curl/loc/frizz / all at the same time🥰🥰🥰
I’ve been thinking about re locing my hair. If I do I think I’ll go the loc extension route
It was the best decision for me. I had to be in front of the camera a lot and was manipulating my hair too much at first. The extensions helped a lot with that for me
God bless you sis I hope that you've been well but we need a part 2!!😆🙏🏾
Please do the part 2, I love your videos
Wow!! ❤ They look amazing. You look great! I’ve been waiting for an update lol. For mad long
Thank you so much for the compliment. Truly appreciate you being patient with me, part 2 coming sooner than this did lol

Really loved the update videos. I’ve been wondering about your hair. It looks amazing.

This is a great question! Yes, I was still washing my hair. I would wash once every 2-3 weeks.
Is your last loctician (the Caribbean woman) in NY?
How did you wash your scalp when you first started your locs?
