AOT is an anime full of subtle moments, moments of foreshadowing and callbacks. Here are three such subtle moments you might not have noticed 17:11 Eren said "Lets go back to our home." Not "my" home. Within just a couple of moments, Eren has already accepted Mikasa. He not only risked his life for her, killed two people for her, gave her his scarf but has now made his home their's! 25:33 Even though Mikasa is worried sick about Eren, when she meets Armin she only asks Armin how he is, not about Eren. 25:48 Armin, who has been in a state of shock for ever, does not make Mikasa ask him about Eren. Armin, who considers himself a coward of the highest degree, gathers his courage to inform Mikasa about the death of the person Mikasa treasures the most. Also, in the first episode, remember how Carla (Eren's mother) had told Eren that she wouldn't be able to escape as her legs were crushed under the rubble and that he should go off leaving her? When the Smiling Titan lifted her off, we could see that her legs were moving just fine. Lastly, TATTAKAYE!!!!!
I would also add that the eyes of the characters are filled with emotion and intent. For example Mikasa's eyes when Armin is about to tell her of Eren and right after. There was no glow, no shine in her eyes. In that moment, she gave up everything including herself
another one is .... during ep4 mikasa was saying she would join eren in the battle , she was being selfish here ....but eren scolded her to not bring up her emotions.... in ep7 here we see mikasa saying to annie 'I AM SORRY FOR BRINGING UP MY EMOTIONS but have you seen erens squad' and on your second para notice how eren doesnt hold her hand when saying that?.....he holds her cloths because she just had a traumatic experience because of those traffickers and she would have been greatly terrified if eren had touched her.
I love her theorizing about what's in the basement. I've heard/read some crazy theories about the basement back in the day, but the idea that it's a murder dungeon or something for Eren is WILD!! 😂🤣 Although TBF, it's not a completely crazy idea, given Eren's character and the nature of this show 🤷🏻
Mikasa doesn't love Eren because he saved her life. She was traumatized, terrified, scared, and lonely even after her life was saved. But when Eren wrapped the scarf around her and said, "Let's go back to OUR home." that's when. Btw Ali, that's very cruel of you to make Jass watch Higurashi after AoT 😂😂 At least give her some comforting anime first as a breather.. Watch AoT Junior High after finishing AoT maybe? After Eren saved Mikasa, all she thought about was the event that was happening before, which was how she realised there were three people in the group. Then when Eren was being grabbed and choked in front of her eyes, it made her realised the cruelty of the world that she always saw but ignored. The sight of Eren stabbing the guy and the sight of Eren being choked terrified her. But when Eren wrapped the scarf and accepted her, she saw that even in this cruel world, there's still a beauty to it. S4 also confirmed this but I can't explain the details of course.
