Wow, the set looks fantastic. I really like how you contacted the Mag Pro company and had them build such a beautiful protection “slab” and had them make up the labels. Amazing!!!
Mike - First of all, just WOW!!! Each of those cards is spectacular, but side by side by side by.....just dazzling. I did not know about this set, and I am just in awe of your patience and persistence. Truly an amazing collecting accomplishment. I had no idea about those Mag Pro's, and think they look really sharp, the plastic's clarity is better, dare I say, than a PSA slab. This was a spectacular video for its education, its enjoyment, and for highlighting your accomplishment. Congratulations!
Mike, this is a beautiful looking collection. Normally cards printed after 1980 are of no interest to me, but this set is something special. Regarding the Magpro’s I also purchased them following the John Mangini video. I also went a step further and purchased outer sleeves and insert sleeves for smaller cards such as Bowman’s.
Congrats on completing the set. When these first released it was a set I considered working on but decided against. The time it took you (with more resources) makes me glad I didn't attempt it. Hope you and the family are well.
Looks Amazing Mike! Love it! I have decided to go on my own adventure to put this set together. After seeing you and Bill the HOF collector show these over the past year, it has encouraged me to jump in with both feet. I already have the Joe Black, Rod Carew, George Foster, Rollie Fingers, Willie McCovey, Dave Parker and Ryne Sandberg cards so I have a head start. I just sent in a very large amount of cards to COMC so the proceeds from those sales will go toward this project. Wish me luck! :)
I think those look great. I would suggest breaking the ones out that are in slabs and getting the magpros for them as well. That way the entire set is exact, but that's my way of collecting. None the less, awesome set.
Amazing! Great to see someone else with a complete 2001 GOTG set. Be on the lookout for the double signed Blair card. Im still on the hunt for the Stargell redemtion card. He passed away during the signing process.
Awesome looking set. Congratulations on completing it. IMO, this 01 set has a better player selection than the 99 SI greats of game set. Just finished the 99 set, but after seeing your set, I'm wondering if I should have worked the 01 instead.
Nice job Mike!! They look great. I haven't thought of doing this with some sets. Does this company work well with everyone on customizing the flip for the cards?
Wow...that's an incredible set. Did you make the labels yourself or did you have MagPro print them individually for you? Thanks for sharing the cards, Mike!
I’m pretty sure Schmidt only signed 213 of them because his blue pen ran dry! I think the Mag Pros look just like PSA from a distance. Great idea. I think I am going to have to find me a George Foster and Mookie Wilson. Thanks for the show.
That’s incredible such a big accomplishment. Why did you choose 2001 out of curiosity. I’m actually working on the 2000 set now (only about 40% complete).

Mike your patience to work on completing that set over 21 years is commemorable. The holders look great also.

Have never seen the entire set - great job. Thanks for sharing. Blue is the best color - it never fades.
@@jeffs8614 Thanks. It was a great project
Awesome collection!!!! I prefer the 2000 set, but seeing all of the cards together like this is really beautiful.
Congrats on completing the set. The Mag Pros were a great call
Amazing set! Loved the video and now I want to add some of them to my collection! Thanks for sharing.
I think this was a great idea for this set! They look awesome Mike, congrats on completing it!
Now crack the graded ones and make them all the same 🤪😉
Not gonna happen Jake, but nice try.
I had to try! 🤪
Amazing set. Really wish Topps would do a set like this yearly instead of just current players. A legend set would be nice.
Those look tremendous Mike!
Beautiful set, love that Fleer included the Negro Leaguers, love how the the MagPros turned out.
I certainly do too Frank.
Next level. The MagPros look spectacular.
@@hammerforty-four I wish I could take more of my collection to the next level
Congrats on completing that amazing set!
Very nice set, congrats on getting that done and they look great in the MagPros. I love being able to do my own labels with those.
I love being able to personalize them too!

Amazing project! They look so good!
Thanks, I'm glad you like them!
What a labor of love. Love everything about this. Thanks for sharing
Thanks. I'm excited about how it turned out.
That is a beautiful set. I think it is such a clean design. I have a couple of them.
Love this set. Always liked this set because the autographs and pictures are so clean. Mag pros are great too. Nice work!!!!!
Thanks. I agree it's a really nice set.
Wow, what a great set. Nice idea to store them. Thanks for sharing

They look great together, an impressive set with all the HOFers, and a nice accomplishment! I like the mag pros.

Awesome collection!!
Grats! The mays was my last one needed as well!!! (I only did the HOF, but 65 ish either way) I know that one meant a lot!!!
@@billthehofcollector4525 You know how tough that is to find Bill.
Hi Mike, those are all amazing. I love it. Thanks for taking the time to show these. The Mag Pro's are cool too.
So cool. I’m starting to use Mag-Pros. Thx for sharing.

Man mike, that's awesome! I don't know how you do it! Thanks for sharing buddy!
One card at a time. One card at a time
True but still awesome!
Already the second time today I've heard about these MagPros. Apparently need to check them out! (Though I don't buy much raw that I intend to keep.)

Ya Mike those autos are next level and in those slabs just adds the museum touch ⭐️😍🤙🤙

Super impressive and I’m sure a lot of patience.
