Said before, I will say it again...as hard as these ladies work, they deserve to perform this fantastic routine to a full stadium right before the game begins, with no one on the field except them and the camera people. I bet it would really charge up the fans. Thanks.
Actually we do! Every game day starts early with Rehearsal so it done in its entirety, many who work during the game love as they get to watch before the crowd gets there!

Anyone notice they made Amy the star, for about 20 seconds, and then it was all Maddie??? I Love both, but I'm partial to Maddie
I think they put Amy as the point for the first section because they like her best when there is "photo" like moves, such as the hair flip after hitting the ground and the pose they do with their pom on their hip and arm up. While Maddie is their cleanest and personally I think their best dancer. Maddie as the point is refreshing to watch, that's why she is there longer than Amy.
I love Maddie. She is a great dancer with great energy, but I must say that I am a little sad that Amy was there for such a short period of time. 5-year veteran, a responsible group leader for so many years, a great dancer with awesome energy - also, this was her last year performing with DCC, I would like to see her for a longer period of time :)
I'm so happy for Amy... I've followed her DCC journey and she's worked hard! Maddie as well, she's a beautiful dancer.

Why are the football players on the field while they’re performing? Let the girls have their moment. They work so hard and get paid close to nothing.
Lol, DCC is the highest paid in these NFL it's gotten better over the years. There are no players on the field, it's the intro video that plays.

This year there are 3BG not many Audition each year it was 3 when I made it in 2002. And then 4. In 2007 I think there 7! I try to help some that Audition so they are technically ready most never are so it makes learning harder. No SWAC in the NFL.
I've been a fan for the past ten years and this is what I came up with after counting.
2009 - 6 (3 Veterans, 3 Rookies)

@@NDGOCHYLD They do switch up the sideline dances and songs, yes. The intro dance and song are always the same though. They should keep the kickline, but the rest of it could be changed.
But that’s the point... it’s their signature routine... and will stay that way.

I NEED to see Ashlee as point! Energy always on 10, gorgeous, and her kicks are beautiful. Maybe the highest on the squad.
They have SUCH precision! They are like the Rockettes with that kick line. Maybe even better! I like the choreography as is.
That stadium is so, so huge though, that they almost get lost on the field. In a way I liked the older stadium and watching them practice out on that lawn, lol! I never realized what they went through to become DCC so when I first watched this show as a lark, I was amazed and have new respect for them. It is pure athleticism and the total package! At the end of the show’s first or second season when the cameras showed them in the back tunnel waiting to go out for their first game after having followed them through so much work, and finally going out there and performing, I surprisingly choked up!
The one thing I hope is that they stay “themselves” in style, and don’t go Hollywood on us! Not sure I like all these guest judges etc.. I liked Kelli and Judy’s insights between themselves more, so we could see the thinking behind their decision making.
Great video captures all the geometric patterns and kept every girl in the kick line. I always get emotional when the girls come out to AC/DC like the cowboys can do anything, love the final salute to the lone star, and I’m not even Texan.

Thank you as an Alumni DCC I agree totally, but I have to say in my opinion and many others The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders incentives were priceless and continue to fill our dreams and spirit. We do it because we love it. But we are the highest paid in the NFL it will only get better. Lol too bad I've retired my poms!! Best wishes to future DCC! 💙💙💙

I think that they're dragging it out alot this year cause usually final team is announced before first home game but this year it's late
You're welcome! CMT aires based on their TV schedule or what DCC may have going on which taping continues in some cases so it may delay airing.

I can understand why the camera and video men are on the field, but why did the football players decide to come out and practice during the cheerleaders' performance? Couldn't they wait less than six whole minutes until they were done? The ladies practice and rehearse for so many months, they should get the field for this short amount of time. I hope this does not happen too often now.

StarFire PRO I know what it is. I just figured they change it up being how Judy and Kristy are always talking about the first game. I know most of the dances they do at camp are the sideline and halftime show routines. I’m a Cowboys Fan myself.

I mean, whenever someone goes out onto the field during a football game that person is hauled away and sometimes even charged with something or another, yet NOTHING HAPPENS when it's done to the cheerleaders!!

I thought the dance would be more creative and intense, but it was simple and kinda boring. I would not consider them cheerleaders I would consider them more like dancers. I think they should add actual cheerleaders with stunt groups.
Sergio, NFL Cheerleaders are Dancers only. This isn't a Grade School or College Level Entertainment. Been a Dancer my entire career. No stunts needed here. You may like Lower level Cheer styles more. In sports they are just called Cheerleaders not Cheer stiff dance styles. But Cheer is fun to watch too. Proud NFL and NBA Cheerleader Alum!

@@starfire1609 I know this is a late response, but some NFL teams have both dance and stunt cheerleaders. One example is the Baltimore Ravens. Both are on the field/sidelines at the same time.
