Drummer started the intro with quarter notes on hats instead of accented eighth notes. This deadened the energy of the pulse starting the song and drummer even over accented quarters on high hat barely letting the 1/8 notes skip along and pull the song.

I am sorry but this could have been so much better. The vocals are awesome but the timing and the backing really could have been so much better!
