    Hello Emily,
Thank you so much for every single video you have made. The generous details which you have inputed into these videos especially this one and the breathing video, you know, they could potentially save a technique-crippled flute playing life of mine.
Now, it depends on how I implement them productively into my practice and yet to see how it goes. I am sure I am heading into a better direction than I was.
I hope one day if I ever get to play in your masterclass. It would be lovely to let you know how they have helped me.
Thanks again for your contribution to the other aspiring flutists.
I am a big fan and will always be
    🙏🙏🙏🙏😊
    Thank you
Ps. Would you ever do another video on Dynamics and Tone colours.. I still don’t get how soft and loud dynamics work on the flute playing🙏
My body tenses every time I play soft😔😊

Thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge! I shall share it with my students and do it myself. Especially great to fill those special 10-15 minutes before a concert... Thanks a lot!💜

Thank you so much for your wisdom, so refreshing, all your lessons have been so well versed, with no stumbling blocks, not once have I not understood all you have to say, quite a perfect blog really, I have learned a lot, I just enjoy my piccallo so much, you have brought so much joy to that, at such a hard time for the country, it is a soulful save for me in such a way, which adds much needed love to a broken heart, through the air I breathe I could never have imagined such clarity, from such a enchanting teacher,/musician/person x thank you

Can you do a tutorial on flutterzung?

Thanks for your suggestion Raquel... if the lockdown continues after May, I will certainly think about doing a video about extended techniques including flutter tonguing! 😉

Thank you Emily for another revealatory video! I noticed I place quite a bit of tension in my knees when I'm about to play a difficult / nerve wrecking passage in orchestra...

You're so welcome! Yes, knees, thighs, bottom 🤭... tension can lurk anywhere!

Thank you for this!! Will add it into my practice plan.
Do you have any advice to help with embouchure spasms?
When I'm performing/practicing I very often feel like my lips are "wobbling", despite having a strong air stream and no evident tension in my embouchure. It's a bit of a question mark to me at the moment. Any advice would be really appreciated.
    Kerry :)

Hi Kerry, glad you found the video useful! Don't worry, wobbly lips can be a good sign when you're releasing excess lip tension. Keep thinking of the air flow and I'm sure it will soon pass... Good luck!

Very usefull, I noticed the change immediatly. I have some tension in my shoulders and in my hand in fast passages, so I try to study scales focusing on them to ease this. But i never thought of relaxing before. Thank you for this wonderfull knowledge.
