Interesting street style restoration.. I have two negative comments though. To do some good work, you will have to learn the meaning of proper cleaning. Clean means clean and you can't assemble properly an engine while working on the same surface, where did you tear it apart, with sparse dirt, sand and junk all over the place. Also flushing of components should never be done only partially. When assembling, things making contact should not crunch when turned or inserted. Crunchy or stuck bearings should be cleaned thoroughly by soaking and compressor air gun blown dry, then greased and if still crunchy, replaced. I happily see you improved to use a table instead working in the dirt on the ground.
Consider this a constructive critique to improve your work to maximize the work success, longevity of the repaired items and even profit, if this is your business. Small attentions make a life difference. Keep on!😉
You are correct of course but let's face it, given the basic set up she has, it's still pretty amazing what she accomplishes. The person I regularly watch, besides her, is a woman in China called Lin Gueure (hope I'm spelling that right). This young Chinese woman does outstanding work and should be someone that this blacksmith lady emulates over time.
@@rolandgirard3955 Yes, Blacksmith Girl & Lin Guoer & Duong (on the "Primitive skills" website) are great examples of what people can accomplish when NOT working in ideal circumstances. "Ideal" according to Western standards, that is. Blacksmith Girl is following a quite steep learning curve. In just a few months she has expanded her tool-set in many good directions. Ditto ever-more using oil & grease where useful or needed. Cleanliness is also increasing, circumstances permitting. A very GoodThing with both ladies is that both use paint NOT to disguise/hide anything, but to SHOW that their work is a REPAIR-to-working-condition. NO false advertising at all! 🙂
Interestingly, everybody who I have seen using WD40 or equiv in videos seems to think that it works instantly...
