You cant always do a direct substitution. When you find the derivative using limits sometimes you will run across fractions or radicals that force you to use other tools like factoring or multiplying by the conjugate. Also know pascal's triangle for binomial expansion. Saves time.

i'm because my teacher won't teach this theorem but she will include this in our quiz, she just make us lecture that theorem and never discussed HAHAHHA
Idk how I spent 2 hours na ito lang timururo samin na Hindi ko ma gegets and magically understand it upon seeing just 1 example each theorem. Took me around 10 mins lang or less to understand the whole thing 🤡 ano nangyare sa 2 hours ko sa class?
