Wow! What a great video. Justin, you have a wonderful family not perfect but people can learn so much from your love and your servant’s heart. This is one of your best videos. Thank you for sharing.
Agreed, I came here to say the same thing. The best Justin Rhodes video I've ever seen in the last 5 years I've been watching your videos. Well done. What a blessing to watch. We all need a Mr. Meeks and his wisdom.
Wow…just wow! I never comment but this video was awesome! What a humble and wise man Mr Meeks is and this trip and life lessons given will be a cornerstone in the lives of each present as well as those of us who had the blessing of being allowed a window seat. Thank you!
So sweet. Little man got to go to Man Camp for the first time this year. Exceptional Man Camp this year. I can easily see this turning into a mentorship program for boys and young men who need this type of input. Mr. Meeks is a man of wisdom, kindness and patience. He perfectly described God's love for His children. It brought tears to my eyes when he described your boys.
We need more of this for our youth! Thank you for sharing your Man Camp. I hope that others can learn directly from this. And what great insights, building up about the character strengths. SO GOOD!
I almost didn't watch this video since, we are experienced campers, but it was much more than camping. Like many others, I was encouraged by Mr. Meek's example. Powerful.
I have never commented before here, just watching from afar, but felt the need to say how lucky the boys are to have a godfather such as him. What a very insightful man. Just lovely.
Jonah and Josiah deserved all the praise and respect they got. I don’t know you young men except through these videos, but I am so proud of you both. Being young in this world is not easy. There are many paths to choose from. I am proud you are on the path you are.
I enjoyed this video so much! How blessed you all are to have such a wise and wonderful friend in Mr. Meeks! Thank you for sharing so many key moments of your camping trip! I think is is wonderful for just you men to get away together! Austin has some B-ball moves on him. Lol
Really love the editing on this video. It shows your story so much better than the quick clips. Time spent actually seeing your content with a story, is quality content to others. Would love to see more like this. This was an experience I’m sure you all will remember in years to come. Mr. Meeks said much of what I feel we see in your family and why we come to spend time with you. My baby is 32, and I still act like Becca when she comes home to visit. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for creating and sharing content designed to inspire, lift up and support others that is legitimately entertaining. Finding anything close now requires intention and effort which explains much about the state of society as a whole.
Justin, this truly says so much about where some of your Godly values and a heart for all things good have been birthed from.. what a blessing to have Mr Meeks in yours and now your boys lives.. there is such a great need for this kind of mentoring here in Australia... Men have list their identities and families all over are suffering... Praying for God to bring good men into my son's lives and good men into my daughters lives also.. (and maybe one my way .. single life can sure get tough)🙏🙋♀️
As a resident of Sevier Co TN, your description of Gatlinburg is spot on! We avoid it at all costs and only visit when company comes in. The Smokies, on the other hand, are glorious! I can see them from my window. What wonderful words of wisdom from Steve and what a lovely time with the "menfolk" at a camp out. Happy Day!
What a wonderful video! Love watching your boys becoming men. I want a Mr Meeks in my life, a very wise man that chooses his words to lift everyone to a higher level. Thank you Justin for a special treat. ❤
❤I always look forward to your man trips. So very good for everyone there. Guys being guys! Mentoring, Loving, Leading & Sharing! Great examples of Christian men and young boys! Wonderful things will blossom out of this time spent together! And Little Henry... So very brave and did his little strong man thing being away from Mommy. God Bless you all for sharing Christ in everything you do.😊❤🐟🐟🐟
This episode brought back so many memories of being a camp counselor for so many years and having a youth organization in the past. It was so rewarding nurturing those young boys and then seeing them go on to be men with families of their own. It’s good to see it’s still happening today.
🙋🏼♀️🕊. This works ,,,, make a list of the things that worked well ,,, and a list of the things you either left behind , and what needs to be added to the camping list, make a check list and put it with your camping things Blessings to all 💞🕊💞🕊💞🕊🥀. Those boys are not just takers, they are there when their dad needs them Lillie as well.💞🕊💞🕊💞
Beautiful messages. Thank you to all who were a part of it and for sharing this with us. We all need more of this in our life and I admire how the genuinity which I felt through the screen. I look forward to watching this again with my family.
Hands down..your manly man weekends with the kids is my favorite episodes!…I miss seeing the Hollar boys with yours though…those guys with yours is a real pleasure to watch! Haven’t seen them around lately😢😢…..I live about 45 minutes (4th generation)..from Gatlinburg…when I was a kid the town was nothing like it is now…you guys are correct it was built up strictly for tourism..and Dolly Parton was the driving force for the growth..and now with the “moonshiner” popularity it’s absolutely exploded..and it certainly brings in the crowds…it’s a good thing and a bad thing though…it’s forever changed the area and it’s small town Appalachian quaintness but the jobs and opportunities that the growth brought the locals was much needed..but as for me..I would rather have the sleepy town back all day every day!…Blessings Rhodes family. Loved todays vlog❤❤
Being a graphic artist, I giving you some good advice...Dont use the font you used in your thumbnail for "Man Camp." It will give the wrong impression. There are better decorative fonts than ones that look like German Fracture.
I am glad I am not the only one!! I saw that thumbnail and my brain went WTF???!!!!

Wow wow such a valuable lessons excellent so much that happened on that one trip amazing keep up Justin great job I am from Asheville I watch case I see my mountains family everything
Aw I love this! Man, watching him teach the boys how to use a flint & steel unlocked a childhood memory for me. I always wanted to learn how to do that! Now I think I may have to order sets for my sons... but they'd love that!
Never question what Jonah knows. He was right on the tent stakes. He is a true leader. Gideon just needs to find his way in the family and he will. I love that Henry chose to go with you.
I'm so happy to see you guys did this. My wife and I have been planning to visit Gatlinburg to fly fish that area! I'd highly recommend showing your kids the Jon B. Never Stop tour fishing youtube movies. He does excellent work and it shows a passion they might have, especially Gideon!
I love Mr. Meeks, especially as he was talking about God. The Rhodes kids are great but I can't help but feel that they need to hear much more about God, how He loves them and how they should love Him. His description of each of the boys at the end was very good. I especially appreciated his thoughts about Josiah and the phrase still comes to mind that still waters run deep. I hope that Gideon will remember to listen as he was advised, so he can learn to lead in the right way. Great video all around.
Man Camp! Oops, no tent tarp, no table, no tent tie downs? Nice dinner with that great grill you brought. Nice ping pong tables. That fire starting lesson was great. Going fishing! It's nice to have flush toilets when you go camping! Complementing characteristics is a great tip. Steve Meeks is a great teacher. I really like what he says. Is he related to Benjamin Meeks, YT "The Garden Guy?" Gatlinburg, cool place. It's fun to see Austin with you. So cute to see Henry fishing! Beautiful rainbow trout! I hope the bigger boys get some fish! Gideon did show a bunch of patience when he was fishing. That was great to see. Too bad you guys got skunked on the fishing. I'm glad you got to share the trout dinner with the Meeks'. Cute basketball game of horse and then game. Roasted marshmellows! Cute story about the ice cream and kids! I'm glad Hanna did have some of the ice cream. That story was good because it lets the kids know that you love them no matter what. You are there to guide a child in proper behavior but nothing can stop you from loving them. Josiah is a cool kid and he is attentive and a great worker behind the scenes. Gideon is a leader because he jumps right into things. Henry has a bright future for sure. Thanks for this video Rhodes family!
Justin, from the moment I began watching your videos it was evident that you are a servant leader and that Rebekah and your precious children are your priority and although your actions and the way you are living your life scream man of faith there were a few things that caused me to wonder, not any more, these lase few videos have left no doubt.
I can't believe I have to say this, but the font you used on the thumb nail was used in 1930-1940's Germany and "Man Camp", reads as the title of a little man with a funny moustache in that font. Not to mention the fire in the background. Bookburning anyone? Was this intentional?
Great video and gets me thinking about the story. If their sons told Mr Meeks, l don't want ice cream for lunch. I don't think it's a fun thing. We wouldn't do this if mom was here. Thank you, but no, thank you, dad. Or l like to do this, so moms included. No thank you dad. Who now is making the bad choice? What we might think is a good time or great idea might not translate to our kids. If the adult was corrected on a choice of junk food for lunch and dinner... are the kids wrong if they give attitude? At last, this is a story, and no matter what... love is the moral of the story. These are just butterfly effects that flash about in my head. Happy Day.

What sweet man to be so attentive to all the boys. The ultimate giver.
i love that Gideon didnt give up or whine cuz he didnt catch anything he is really amazing young man hugsssss

Watching Gideon fish and Henry decide to join the guys is such a milestone. They are growing up quickly!
Mr. Meeks is so wise and I love his blessings of each child at the end! I love how intentional you are with your family!

I laughed so hard; was the Meeks boy, when his dad was showing how to hold the fish”ehh” he kept saying! Such fun

Justin, you have the MOST AMAZING mentor ever! You and your boys are truly blessed! I learned so much from Mr. Meeks, thank you.
Amen! What a good episode. I would love if you did an episode or a series on the podcast with your mentor
Being a graphic artist, I giving you some good advice...Dont use the font you used in your thumbnail for "Man Camp." It will give the wrong impression. There are better decorative fonts than ones that look like German Fracture.
So I am not the only one who read it as a failed painter's book title...
Maybe they wanted that effect?
Every time I scroll past this video I really cannot NOT see a similar title in that font. Every time I have to do a double take.
I am glad I am not the only one!! I saw that thumbnail and my brain went WTF???!!!!

Love his words to the boys ❤
We love because He first loved us

The Meek shall inherit the earth comes to mind.
LOL
😇
"Nobody say M.O.M. after dark"--cracked me up! haha! love it!
What a great video! Investing quality time in children is so important as is being intentional to make the time.

Great life lessons learned while having the time of your life.
Morning and dusk is the better times to fish
Enjoyed this video so much. That little little one-too precious. I thought for sure you’d be driving back early😂

Did Gideon become a MAN on fishing day ? All that patience, wow. Impressive. Mr Meeks is a treasure. Is available for mentorship?
Best Video I've seen on your channel for a long time. ❤
This is the best. Great stuff Justin.
Henry wants his Mommy, bless him, he is still a baby. It’s good he went camping with the men ! 👍🩷👍
Awesome video! Thank you 😊
Being from south Florida, we call it a 'tourist trap'
No one say MOM after dark! 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Ehm….that font in the thumbnail. “Man Camp” ?!?!
No one caught this….smh.
Blessed Man Camp.
My favorite video by far thank you ❤❤❤
What a wonderful time with the children.
