This is so good, that it will still be learned, thought, studied and played 30, 60, 90, 120 years from today, ... because this is real and extremely good music, ... not today's garbage.
Old school blues doesn't have a rigid structure like we made it. They change the chord whenever they feel like it, not 4 beats of this and 8 beats of that every time.
Eu não os tempos musicais da School do blues , mas esse cara é incrível , sensaçional , estrumentacao rígida , mas maravilhoso , sem palavras , só ouvir 🌵🇧🇷
OMG the old school blues are the least rigid of all the genres. These folks have surprises around every corner. They never play a song the same way twice
I saw R.L. Burnside in on Bleecker Street when I was 30 with Pine Top Perkins in THE West Village around 1993 and I remember having goosebumps from seeing someone who was the real deal and an innovater not an imitator as well as Albert King , Buddy Guy, Hubert Sumlin, John Lee Hooker..all in New York City circa 89 -2000 Mick Taylor former Rolling stones guitarist played every weekend for years at a bar with a huge lizard statue on top of the roof
Wow !! Another incredible footage of RL Burnside and to see Calvin Jackson playing the drums with RL is just perfect ! Thanks a lot, these videos are helping me to spend the quarantine in a good mood, Cheers !!
What a historic gem this is. Thank you so much for this and the other documentary video. I’m watching to pick up some his tricks. I play Blues as well. What an awesome soul. Thanks again.
It is impressive to see this stage of R.L. Burnside, but what is most appreciated is to see Calvin Jackson, who drew the first patterns of the Hill Country Blues on the drums. Thank you!
@@camkimbrough6103 Hey Cam, I would love to read your words about this. It is my way to learning about the music that I love. I understand that Kinney Kimbrough was one of the first architects of this style, but it seems that there is a struggle between Hill Country Blues and Cotton Patch Soul Blues ... what do you think about this?
Hey man no problem I will definitely explain the difference under the condition that you subscribe to my channel I'll make a full video breaking down the differences between the two, agree?
@@camkimbrough6103 Done man! I would like to know your opinon about this. Also, let me know if you can offer a meeting thorugh zoom, or whatever you want, to know about your family music style

Dutch sounds like French with a mouth full of marbles.
Min 6:35 see my jumper....
well well well....
Amazing. So raw. The out of tube guitar adds to tension. Is that deliberate??
Shitty guitars and a drunk tuning ear is most likely……😂
Fuckin boss!
🤪🤪
However Dave Stewart pulled his shit out still amazes me.
Anyone know the name of the song at 56:04? edit: It seems to be a cover of "Black Nights" by Lowell Fulson
Richard van Bergen
Anyone know what guitar he’s playing?
Martin Guitar, i believe a parlor type.
