Team Sooryagayathri presents one of the most powerful Shiva Stotra - Kalabhairavashtakam written by JagadGuru Sri Adi Shankaracharya & composed by Sooryagayathri.
Kalabhairav - the saviour of Kashi (Varanasi) is a Shaivite deity who is a Supreme Reality, synonymous to Para Brahman. In Shaivism, he is a fierce manifestation of Shiva associated with annihilation.
Kaal Bhairav helps to keep one's ego in check. As he cut off Brahma's head with his nail, the skull was stuck and is known as Brahma Kapala. This depiction is found in all Bhairav temples in India. He is kind and easily bestows his devotees with wealth and prosperity.

It's not a song. Kalabharava Ashtakam are 8 slokas in praise of Shiva the Eternal. The closest english word for this would be hymn and NOT a song. You are not alone. Many Indians use the word song. However I can pray for enlightenment to dawn on them. AUM NAMAHA SHIVAAYA.

Superb.... soorya moluse.....ഒരുപാട്.....ഒരുപാട് നന്ദി വിശ്വഗുരു ശങ്കരാചാര്യരുടെ കൃതിയെ ഇത്ര മനോഹരമായി പാടി ഹൃദയത്തിന്റ് ആഴങ്ങളിലേക്കും, അത്ഭൂതാവഹമായ ഒരു തലത്തിലേക്കും കൊണ്ടുചെല്ലുവാൻ മോളുടെ ആലാപനത്തിനും കഴിഞ്ഞു. ഈ ഗാനത്തിന്റെ പിന്നിലൂടെ വരുന്ന കീ ബോർഡിന്റെ ഭീജിയം കേട്ടപ്പോൾ എനിക്ക് ഒന്നു രണ്ടു വർഷങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പ് കണ്ടുപോയ ഒരു ഫിലിം ഓർമ്മവന്നു (ബാഹുബലി II ) അതിൽ യുദ്ധഭൂമിയിലെ ഭാഗങ്ങൾ കാണിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഇതുപോലൊരു ഭീജിയം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു എന്നാണ് എന്റെ ഓർമ്മ. ഒരു പക്ഷെ അത് എന്റെ ഒരു തോന്നലും ആവാം. ഈ കൃതിക്ക് അനുയോജ്യമായ സംഗീതം ഇതുതന്നെയാണ് .കാരണം ഇതു കാലഭൈരവാഷ്ട്ടകം അല്ലെ അതിൻ്റെ ആ ഒരു ശക്തിക്കും, കുതിപ്പിനും ഈ ഈണം തന്നെയാണ് ശരി എങ്കിലേ അതു മനസ്സിലേക്കും ,ഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ ആഴങ്ങളിലേക്കു തുളച്ചു കയറു. പിന്നെ മോളോട് എനിക്ക് ഇതു പറയാതെ വൈയ്യ. മോളുപാടിയ ഭാരതീയാരുടെ "കാക്കൈ സിറകിനിലെ നന്ദലാല" എന്ന ഗാനം എനിക്ക് ഒത്തിരി...ഒത്തിരി ഇഷ്ടമായി ഞാൻ അത് എത്ര തവണ കേട്ടു എന്നെനിക്കറിയില്ല. വല്ലാത്തൊരു അനുഭൂതി അതിൻ്റെ വരികൾക്കും, മോളുടെ ആലാപനത്തിനും. സത്യം പറഞ്ഞാൽ മനസ്സ് ഒഴുകുകയായിരുന്നു അതിനൊപ്പം. പ്രകൃതിരമണീയമായ ഒരു പ്രദേശത്തിൽ കൂടി ശാന്തമായി ഒഴുകുന്ന അരുവിയുടെ ഒരു താളം ഉണ്ടല്ലോ അതുപോലെ തോന്നിപ്പോയി. മഹാദേവൻ എപ്പോഴും നിൻ കൂടെ നടക്കട്ടെ മോളൂസെ.
