Once I get some more seat time I will for sure! Right now I only have around 150 miles on it so I'm still feeling it out. hasn't been the best season here.
Looking forward to more on the riot. Bought my 1st sled a couple weeks ago. ZR6000. Couple hundred miles on it already. Thinking I’d like to find something for the deeper stuff next year. Never wanted a cat but have to say I love the way it handles and how easy it comes apart for trail side maintenance so may be looking back to cat again next year. Never thought I’d say that!! Lol
Enjoyed the video. Glad you were able to ride. Still not enough snow in Lower Michigan. I really appreciate the unbiased approach to your review. You just have to find what works best for you. The industry will be better off if Textron can save Cat. Looks like some good first steps on that path. Keep up the good work.
Here in Muskoka they wouldn't have opened the trails if they were like that. Great video love how you got your dad involved with his opinion. Loving all the videos by the way.
Yeah they should have held off opening them up. Thanks! It's awesome to get my Dads feedback. Helps me highlight things people might like that I didn't initially notice and vice versa, things I might like that others might not enjoy so much.
Suweeeeet! In Florida for the holidays, can’t wait to get back and ride. Glad you guys have snow, great vid, like hearing your dads feedback too...if you guys ride in Maine at all we can break out the big camera and get you some trail footage if you’d like
I have a XF800 and I've found it's important to keep the scratchers down if it's low snow or the trails are set up super hard. Also I'm 6'3 and I'm definitely more comfortable on cats than ski-doos, I haven't spent enough time on an axys to say but the ski Doo's feel to small. I do agree the seats are too soft though on the cats.
Yeah I'll definitely plan to have them from now on if conditions are iffy. I've never loved the ergos on the doo either. The new g4 is very slanted forward to speak and kind of forces you into the console. I thought in the past it did have my knees bent a little less than I felt on the cat but I havent been able to switch directly from one to another so I could be off on that. I definitely dont find the cars ergos bad at all though just different than the axys.
Yeah whenever we can we get off trail and play around. I wanted to upgrade from the 129 to a 137 anyway so the little bit of added length with the 146 for a little extra off trail capability seemed worth it.
I’m 6’7” and I can’t find any sled now a days that fit my ride style. I love my 900 Zr I know it’s out dated but 111 pounds of torque at 7200 rpm makes it great for drag racing if you’re racing the same horse power engine. But you have to have them set up right. Didn’t come good from the factory. Handling great needs a 137 inch track though.
Mike Greening yea that’s a solid engine set up right and you can hook up they are hard to beat. I got about 14 mpg. What do you get. I know it matters how you drive. But I always had mine pinned down. Have a great day
Pretty sure you can pin it on break in and it’s just reduced power from Ecu, after break in setting miles is passed you should have full hp. That’s how skidoo is anyways
Nice Video! Almost 400 Miles so far this year on my Riot , loving it ... Feeling very confident on it , been in the trees, meadow riding , jumping some, Trail Riding , had it up to 86 mph so far, but keep in mind I am way up in the sky, at 8-10 feet Elevation , playing in the clouds :) Its been ideal for the conditions we have , no groomed trails , and lots of powder.... when I am on packed trails I forget I am on a 146 track as it feels like a 129, no darting, or pushing in the turns , even at high speeds ... ITs been sweet ... created new video of first 5 miles or so near Greer, AZ @ 9,000 feet ... check it out when you get a chance... Think Snow! :)
Super stoked to be seeing you post snowmobiling videos again!!!!! Loving every minute of it. Hope to see you out on the trails!!
CBOYSTV shout out! Nice lol
I'll see you out on the trails. The rain was crazy on Friday
Awesome videos. Do you have any or plan on doing any videos of your setups and mods to the machines?

Got a brand new sled in the trailer but no snow yet!!

Are u past your 6 Hs of break on yet on the cat?

my zr9000 had the same issue during the break in period. over heated really quickly even in good snow conditions.
What kind of camera are you using?
We can’t hear his input
How did you change the suspension from the factory settings on the Riot? Why, and what did the changes result in for you? Thanks!
Always start his sled for him. Hes gonna tear his shoulder off

Definitely use those scratchers, not good to overheat a sled still in break-in mode.
Around 17:02 what is he saying about arctic cat?
That the new sales approach and early 2021 release brought attention to the brand that they hadn't had over the last couple of seasons.
Revrider550 Ahh. I was really wanting to get a newer cat until I got to reading all the talk about how bad their parts supply has been.
Where do you live?? We’ve had like 3 feet of snow for about a month now in Northern Wisconsin. How is there still a bunch of green everywhere
New York, not sure seems to be an issue in the northeast this season. Apparently other states still dont have anything.
Are you near Canastota NY, new to area and looking for people to ride with.
I think we drive through there on way to friends cabin in Camden 🤔
sick way to start the video!!
How do you like your Ram? Gas or Diesel?
Gas. I like it does exactly what I need. Honestly my favorite vehicle that I've owned. No real issues in 24k miles and tows the trailer no problem!
Do u get a lot of snow n ride off trail hence the riot versus zr?

Nice work on the new intro!!
