Some Asda own is ok but some is absolutely rank, the pasta packs are hideous
Don’t bother with bleach or washing powder it’s rubbish

Gosh so for this "weekly" shop you have like 1 serving of veg a day. Almost nothing to fufill real nutrient requirements :(

Didn't really see any veg besides carrots and potatoes! I go through a lot of fruit and veg a week...
The point is you can eat for a week for £10. Not that it's brilliant food.
Exactly, which is so sad. And this is how governments act: you can still get a weeks shop for £10! You could-- but it doesnt fulfil the health requirements for a working adult, let alone if theyre supporting children.
It's great unless you're coeliac and then half of it you can't eat or you have to more than double for half the amount of all the free from options 😢

If you can add an extra £5 to add some extras, eggs, soup, kale and broccoli etc. This just shows you dont have to eat cheap pizzas and junk to eat pretty healthily on a budget.
How's eating cheap pizzas healthy on a budget? I think you need to educate yourself on health, what's healthy and what's not.

While i understand what you are trying to show , the sad fact is that shop isnt healthy by any means. Most of it is UPF and nutritionally deficient food , no fruit , only one type of vegetable (other than potatoes) not greens no fish. A diet such as that long term could cause all manner of illnesses. This is the point is that people shouldnt have to live on UPF nutritionally deficient food in 2024, people ate better than that in the 30's fgs
