I am suffering from stage 4 spinal cancer. All the chemo, radiation, spinal surgery, and incredible pain... I felt the desperation in the soul of the Leper approaching Jesus. It almost broke me, watching with my wife sitting next to me. Excellent job nailing that powerful scene. I could feel that man's isolation and torment, and then standing before the Solution to his life's long despair. Praise Jesus for this beautifully crafted series.
I cannot imagine what you’re going through I just read your message and I want you to know that somebody from Arizona is praying for you. Jesus heals us on so many levels physical, spiritual, emotional. His will be done not ours....Our faith makes us complete and I pray that you have no fear in your journey. i am hanging on, and feel alone
I remember the first time I saw the character that plays our Lord. Thought, "oh great, this is gonna smell". Then, once I started watching and was absolutely absorbed into every second and He FINALLY shows up, I wept like a baby. Up until a few years ago I wasn't very much a follower of Christ. I pretty much always believed in God and knew SOME stories but I was definitely living my own life apart from Him. Once I committed to actually reading the Bible and the Gospel of our Lord and our King I have a deep deep sense of reverence.
There is shame as well. That He would go the cross for me and I pay Him back with my filth and dishonor is something that has brought me to my knees, and I mean literally. I just love Yeshua, Jesus so much and often have a hard time with feeling unworthy because of everything I do wrong. To see Him in this portrayal, not so stoic but "down to earth" (lol) is really something quite special. The actor does an awesome job. They all do. Jesus is my favorite character in the show and is number 1 in my life as well. May we all receive grace from our Holy Father through the blood of Jesus, who is our Christ.

put very well.Thats alot of my story about the shame and also that i disobeyed my father, and love and reverance God more because of the grace he gives through Jesus. my mind can very judgement, but I get down on my self if I don't stay strong in the grace of Jesus

I cried when Nicodemus watched Jesus and disciples hiding behind the wall and .... Jesus says “ You were so close” 😥😥 , feels like everytime I do anything. Wrong , Jesus saying this to me 😥 you were so close from doing right 😓
What I loved about this scene is that even though Nicodemus could not bring himself to join Jesus, there was no punishment...no condemnation from Jesus. No judgement. He was still loved. He was still cherished. He would later help to prepare Jesus body for burial. How often do so many of us not what the Lord asks us and yet His mercy, grace and love are still there if we believe in Him.
I couldn't hold my tear right there, either.
Trust me man, God is not just watching you and counting your sins, EVERY SINGLE ONE was already paid for, PAST PRESENT AND FUTURE.
Me too😥😥😥 but that made me think; we are like Nicodemus, we want to follow jesus, but there's just something pulling us back, hard to explain 😔😓
I kind of Think that part is a little confusing coz nicodemus tries so hard and he also do Believe that jesus is the messiah and it is somehow still not enough

This is the best bible series I have ever seen. The characters come to life in an amazing way. They are so relatable. I loved every episode so much. Whenever I thought about Mathew I imagined him almost exactly the way you have him portrayed.

Matthew I see myself in that i have fragile x syndrome and I'm on the autism spectrum. I'm 40 in a couple months and it's hard every day to relate and that is why i love this show... I understand it and i feel loved. So thank you. Just thank you. I don't get things right away and was bullied but i have Jesus and this show brings Him to life in a way that's not been done
281/2 years ago, when I turned 40, I would have been impressed that you turned 40. Now, I am impressed that you know that you are loved. We are always have been loved. Jesus has always been present to us. We, ourselves, must make ourselves present to him. Jesus has always been at our door, just let him in.

What a wonderful series. The characters are so real. My emotions went from laughing to crying. Can't wait for season 2
I'm fasting Social Media for 6 months to a year. This has been so amazing as far as engaging again. I was bringing this show before it got so big.
I am praying for 10 million. The spirit is so heavy it's absolutely beautiful. To see it 5 times and still weep is a strong indication healing is still happening. Praise the Lord all ya people. God bless The Chosen! Evey person needs Jesus! This show is bringing others to Him. Including friends who weren't saved. It's so miraculous the things that are coming from this. Healings in the home too. God is so good.
How is that going and what has been the outcome for you? How has your life improved by eliminating social media? Good on you btw, for it has become so toxic that you cant say anything without someone calling you a name and coming hard against you. Ive thought to do the same thing for some time but I keep making excuses.
Everything, everybody, from director, actors, actresses, costumes, hair, make up, scenes, photography, camera, music... are much better than hollywood movies.

If this was Hollywood, Jesus would have mistresses in every town. He would probably also be depicted as a fake or some poor guy who just got caught up in a movement, like Monty Python's LIFE OF BRIAN. Except for Mel Gibson, I doubt Hollywood would share the real story. Hollywood would need to infest it with something topical, like asserting that Jesus was sexually in love with John or that Mary Magdalene was a transsexual.

This show changes the views of Jesus. It will bring people to the kingdom of God. I would say stay in prayer and be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. This is a good thing for this generation. God is doing something new and this is part of it. Great job folks.
The Nicodemus scenes are so vital to understanding the struggle he went through, that we do similarly, as he came to know Jesus. My tears were also flowing...
I'm touched by this Bible series right from episode 1-8...It's really amazing to see the different character played by you all...I could really see how Jesus loves us so much..no matter who we are or what we have done..his love never ever runs dry for us all..may God bless you all...

Powerful to be in the stories by means of watching each episode. I love the depth of each episode, the complexity of the characters, the levels of diversity within the cast of ages, ethnicities, cultures, and emotions. Each story helps me glimpse something new about Jesus, because each character responds to Jesus with such honesty and transparency. A truly intimate and insightful portrayal of the Goodnews! I bought several sets of the DVDs and shared them with family, friends, neighbors, Bible Study members and people at church. So touched by Matthew and the cellist who plays during the scene with Jesus and Nicodemus! Thank you to the actors, the extras, the crew, the intercessors, the producers, the writers, the videographers, and thank you Dallas! I am so thankful for your loaves and fishes!!!

I don't know why but it just hit me to think....imagine...
Christ knew when He called John, Matthew and Peter,, that they would one day be writing all of what we read today in their gospels. How AMAZING and beautiful it is that the writers of The Chosen feature both Matthew and John with writing tablets documenting the very words of Christ. So touching. I feel all the more blessed to be able to the Bible because of their obedience, love and devotion. I'm so glad that they are bringing Zebadee back! Getting to know these characters better makes my heart ache for him and Salome when I think of what happens to James. PLEASE bring back Eden's character. She's so amazing!!!!

You have been transported back in time. You are there with them. You see Jesus humanized , relatable, tangible. A compassionate loving humorous being just like you and me. I'm going through backstories here and I can't believe that you now have finished the mid-season's script of Season 2 by this time. Great writing by Ryan Swanson and team!
Jesus's acting is amazing. And on my goodness, Simon, the brother is amazing. I already mentioned elsewhere that the end of the first episode broke me. And Nicodemus, when Jesus and the disciples where leaving, Nicodemus wanted to go so bad, what performance, he made me cry deep. And what's the pharisee' name that was always overstepping himself? You know they are good actors when they make the audience mad. Ok, so I often have to remind myself that im watching a movie. I even forget and start praying for them too, how crazy is that right? But I only forget briefly, about 50 times throughout a movie LOL. The series is transforming. I always thought though that when Jesus made water into wine, that the servants also had to act in faith, by bringing the WATER to the banquet master BEFORE it turned to wine. It's a step of faith for everyone right? You guys have many variations of faith being seen, its awesome. Make sure when it's time for jesus to feed the multitudes, that you don't show the fish and loaves multiplied right away after jesus prays, because the disciples have to act out obedience and see the miracle of it in action like anyone else. That would be too easy if it was a full basket when Jesus hands it to them. I really can't wait to see how Jesus (Joshua) is going to play out the part of chasing the money changes out of the temple court. And then also, John chapter 17, that's as very powerful heartfelt chapter, I hope you don't leave it out. It does seem like your in the book of John with all this. You guys are doing AMAZING with these. Thank you. 💖🔥💃🏼👑🙏👍

God all us to walk the path we walked to the point in the path that we got saved. He uses our testimonies to touch hearts. Your testimony is your personal experience and when you share it with an unsaved person they don't feel the pressure or discomfort that you are expecting something from them and putting them on the spot. I feel if we give our testimonies and give the person to God and leave it with Him miracles happen. We are to be contagious and make people want what we have and I feel like that is what our testimony does.
Love it when you interview the actors and actresses and hearing who they are.

I am ecstatic, GLUED to this entire video, just now watching you with Ryan at 1:52:18 talk about the ending of Season 2. BTW, I remember the video of Ryan talking BEFORE he left for Israel. I prayed for him and his team based on what she shared. We know of millionaires who are extremely well known....I am naming them in prayer (you know who they are) that they will have the grace of God pressed on them to just pay for ALL OF SEASON 2. They are well known for donating huge sums of money to great causes. I hope others will join with me petitioning God for that to happen. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Amazing how all those involved work together to make "The Chosen" episodes a true blessing, not only those working but for us seeing it all come together episode by episode. I feel so fortunate to witness a truer re-enactment of the Gospel. It brings such joy to my heart as is done to thousands, if not millions around the world.

The wedding episode is my favorite...I would love to have been there!
This was live 11 months ago and I missed it then but was able to watch it on TH-cam, which I’m grateful! I just learned about season 1 a few weeks ago and I’m binge watching everything I can find. I loved each episode of season one, they brought me tears from shock and laughter. @The Chosen is the best show I have ever seen! I look forward to future seasons as I know they are in God’s hands! Does it take away views or money if I watch an episode more than once? I don't want to do that, but I'm watching again and loving it even more. I just watched episode 4 again and cried like a baby. Jesus was giddy about the fish. I realized tonight that Jesus was a real man. He's never been real before. Thank you, Chosen team. Bless you all. Eternally grateful.

Wow! The Chosen series is like the Bible comes alive. You know when you reading the Bible it can be a little dry....even falling asleep. Well the Chosen kind of make it alive where you can't wait to read the next story and watch the characters comes alive matching the story perfectly. I truly believe God's hand above this show. I can't even wait to watch the next episodes. It makes me even more excited to read my Bible. Thank you everyone who involved in this series. God bless you all.

Amen Dallas. When you said every day God wants us to have our hands open to Him in surrender. So that we cannot boast over hard work but that He may be glorified for all that comes forth from this project! It is like a spring bursting forth from His hands into ours. Praise God that you are humbled before Him. That you allow Him to use you as a vessel and guide you to use the talents He gave you to bring glory to Himself. Oh what a blessing surrender truly is. Teach my heart O Lord.
