I have never watched women's football prior to WC2023.......Mary Earps, Millie Bright and Lauren Hemp impressed me but Lucy Bronze , who I have heard and read so much about was absolutely hopeless, her passes never reached her team-mates , her lost possession in midfield when she just kept running till she lost the ball and ultimately cost a goal and england the world cup....why do people praise players so much when they are average at best !
Why are you here commenting on the ability of a player whose career you clearly know nothing about. Yes, after her mistake (her biggest crime being wanting it too much and wanting a slither of movement from Toone - who has been atrocious all tournament), she lost her head and began to play without composure. The occasion and her mistake got to her. And so for this you want to discount all of the very well deserved achievements of her career? If you want to rag anyone, it should be management for starting Toone over James, merely because of a fluke of a goal in the semis.
You can't juge someone with only one day. Lucy make a good job, and she's a great player. It's all the team who made a bad play Yesterday You said you like Hemp but she missed two or three direct goal, and in a final of a World cup, it's not good too. You have to put them all..
@@neilrafferty2097 for someone with poor knowledge of the game 🤷🏽♀️ she won the ball, made the run as she should have but no one was running with her, she had no one to pass to safely and on time. Plus what I was taught from the day one of playing football was that if someone goes out the position someone needs to take the spot 🤷🏽♀️ goal was not her fault at all, poor movement cost them a goal
