      Mainland Penang used to be owned by the state of Kedah and it went to the British in the 1800s and they absorbed it into Penang from there on.

    Wonderful introduction of Seberang Perai, Penang and thank you for sharing this video..... Bukit Mertajam brings back fond memories of my teenage years.....friends, dancing mates and that crab meat hor fun stall was a " die die must eat " for me during the mid 60s whenever I was in BM. It was then located at the corner of Jln Stesen and Jalan Datuk Ooh Chooi Cheng.

      I used to live in Butterworth and my wife is from Nibong Tebal. I am actually thinking of coming back to Malaysia next year.

    Another hot spot in BM is Icon City. More happening at night compared to Auto City now but Auto City is a more family oriented place where you can have fun and bonding there due to fun fair and circus are always there

      Houses there range from RM300k onwards for a double storey terrace. You can also go on Iproperty and Property Guru Malaysia to check out the different types of housing and prices available.

    why not talk about sustainable living as retiree. I think your program encourages consumerism, which is not very comforting.

      How about in your introduction to various eating places, also add a few tips on where one can find a recycling place, where one can find stores that sell environmentally friendly products, etc... In this age and time, to live in synch with our nature is becoming more and more necessary.
