It should be clear to anyone who knows Jordan's work that he will always chase hard and be in scary situations, so folks planning to chase with him should think about whether or not they can handle potentially being in those situations. But that's for Jordan, Sierra and their crew to decide. With that being said, you all are being total d*cks by giving someone so much unnecessary grief for being scared. Were you all there as it happened? Maybe a few, but mostly No. Is anyone, even experienced chasers, prone to becoming overwhelemed in the moment with a massive, incredibly dangerous tornado very close to you (even if you are relatively certain you are far enough away to stay safe)? Yes. This actually happened, it wasnt CG. Try to imagine yourself in that situation, not watching it safe at home on your phone.
THANK YOU. it has been really disheartening seeing so many people rip apart that dude for just being *scared.* like, how would *you* react seeing people's homes and businesses being violently ripped away, not knowing if you're seeing people die right in front of your eyes? yes, it may have made the video difficult to watch, but that gives no one the right to be a dick
If you're scared, you shouldn't be out there. I would've been right there with you jordan, getting as close as possible. I would've been amazed, not Scared. That's an awesome sight to be able to experience during the day, without the rain wrap. Please leave the infant at home next time.
My wife and son lived through that. We are still not in our house. Amazing video.
Outstanding footage. Just incredible. Man what I would have given to be in that vehicle during this event. I'm a high risk tolerant kind of person so I think I would have been pretty nervous but intently interested, even mesmerized.
Sorry for the fatality and the injuries. I cannot imagine the despair of those who were hit.
This is part of that Nelk Boys chase episode everyone. They're youtubers. The others were with Reed Timmer in the Dom3, while Jordan had someone with him too. They signed up for this and they wanted content, Reed and the gang delivered.
🤣. He needs to keep xanax in the glove box for future chases.
Or a boxing glove
Awesome footage Jordan !
Amazing video! Thanks for sharing
Yeah this crew has most likely to get killed while chasing written all over it. GL
That was beautiful! The footage you were able to get was breathtaking and on the edge of your seat emotionally to watch! I am glad you were able to get them to stay a few more seconds to get the footage you did get before moving, they were terrified and shouldnt have been there chasing tornadoes..or at least trusting you to know when to move..it was obvious it was heading towards the road not towards you..howver, great job on the footage and what a beautiful tornado! Best I have seen in a while. at 5,02 it looked like it lifted up just to go past the house n red building n tower then came back down..crazy and such a beautiful scene in 4k there! cant believe there was only one fatality when viewing the damage..prayers to that familiy and all those who lost their homes
"You can sit here and play legos for the next hour, it`s not gonna hit us" 😂 That will be an epic quote 😛
That was incredible footage! So surreal!
Another great vid Jordan; did you go check on those farms?. To your passenger, infamous for pissing your pants, not a good look for a chaser.
That guy practically screaming used to sound like my brother long long time ago.. one night we had severe storms, hail, lightning, intense wind.. and about 30mins in the sirens went off.. the only one who ran to the basement was my brother.. we were all out side watching the storm.. me personally i was awe-struck by how powerful these storms can get.. i never made a sound.
If buddy is freaked out he needs to go home
Absolutely incredible footage you guys! Wow!
A keen eye can tell if it's moving left to right or vise versa, or basically not moving, which means you're in its path, so you adjust and move out of its way.
Hey next time don’t take sissy with ya please !!!!!
Dude in the car: "I'm really scared right now"
Jordan: "Well you shouldn't be, you're on Scare Tactics"
Seriously, if u wNna risk your life chasing deadly tornadoes, dont take screeching scarexy pants w ye... No shame, id be that person too. Probably crying under the car seat
Fantastic footage. You were in the perfect spot and knew what was going on. Your friend should have trusted you. I hope the residents were ok.
If your scared you shouldn't be out there.
It always amazes me how beautiful tornadoes look, but I am always quick to remember that they are also just as dangerous and deadly. It would freak me out so bad if I saw a tornado forming above the town I live in.
Don't ever go into battle with that guy.
Cameraman who never dies gets some awesome insane footage!
Did I ever tell you about the time...I went to document a tornado event that broke-out into a Domestic Quarrel between repressed lovers? You had to have been there...🤪 😁 😂 🤣
Dude I would love go and see this that close! Mother nature is amazing
This is why I NEVER take anyone storm chasing with me.
