Royse said the first time Eminem heard him rap in Detroit he had a verse about a gorilla and a banana. Em put that in the verse to sow respect to another titan in the rap game. Em can tear you apart lyrically if he feels the need, but he also shows respect those he feels deserve it.
If you also listen very carefully it starts playing the sound in mario kart when you get a star and are invincible. Take a listen (not on here on official song.)
They're an absolute tag team when they hop on a track together. So much respect to Royce and Eminem but Royce definitely needs more notoriety because he goes bar after bar too 🔥
I think this is probably Em's greatest verse in terms of schemes and BARZ! It was just insane how technical and intelligent this verse is. It's one of the greatest verses of all time. Em's features are nuts man.
Pretty much their whole Bad Meets Evil album is absolute fire. I would specifically recommend the intro track - Welcome 2 Hell as well as Fast Lane. If you're really tryin' to get a headache and want all of Slaughterhouse assaulting your eardrums there is also Loud Noises ft. Slaughterhouse Oh and I need to edit this to add in - Royce Da 5'9" LA Leakers freestyle. DEFINITELY need to react to that and if you can't squeeze in a reaction, at least listen in your own time. Royce at his finest dropping knowledge left and right.
Just wanted to say that I started watching your videos because I really liked your intro and outro music, instantly made me want to watch the whole thing!
If you haven’t reacted to “The Ringer” by Eminem, I would request that. If you’re wanting some more Royce and Em then i highly recommend “Yah Yah” by Eminem featuring Royce and Black Thought with Q-Tip doing the hook.
And Tenorr Saw was sampling Ansel Collins's "Stalag 17" known as the Stalag Riddim up there in popularity with the Sleng Teng Riddim. Just to take it to the next level. Nice reaction.
When I first heard Royce say "Im a product of Parker Lewis and Kubiac" I had a flash back and thought I just heard it wrong. It made me love him even more than I already did. I'm old
The funny stuff is that Royce admitted on his podcast with Lupe Fiasco that he didn't know what Boom Bap style was while he has tones of boom bap tracks in his catalog😅
Great reaction! My favorite line is “ I’m #1, but my pencils are #2 because that’s all I do with them” and “on the John like a prostitute”. I’m old, so I remember them days of making sure I had a #2 Ticonderoga pencil for an exam. Also, Royce’s Big Ben bat that you mentioned, I wonder if the Just a classic waiting is referencing how Big Ben was covered up for repairs and renovations for a few years.
yo please dont worry about your vids being too long. Personally I love the full breakdowns because there's a lot of bars that I dont catch that you do. Thats why I watch your channel, you actually take the time and put effort into this. Plus, your knowledge of actual hiphop is off the chain and I love hearing it personally. You're the best at what you do hands down. Appreciate the content my man
For experiments sake. Take Eminem's lyrics on this song and give them to Treach from Naughty by Nature and let the visual marinate. Eminem is the perfect mixture of Pac and Treach.
I've watched so many reactors on TH-cam. MrLboyd is my new favorite. The breakdowns are just too good. Not to mention the production quality. Its all triple A grade content here.
Just stumbled onto your channel. this is the second video I've watched and really like your reactions. A great Em song is Stimulate from back n like 2002 or 2003, from the 8 Mile Bonus disc. I think it is one of his best songs ever. He also goes in on Yellawolfe's song Best Friend.
Eminem’s delivery is perfect, his flow was born on Mars or neptune 🪐 , the white boy is too good for everybody in my opinion, good verse too for royce.... 👌🤙🏼 (big support from france 🇫🇷) 😉🔥
@@krimbenmhidi-paris-city obviously you're referring to rappers without the ability to do what he does. Seems like Em fans compare him to the same 10 limited artist. And then label him the best
Your philosophy about your channel... it shows. That's why I subscribed to you on my 2nd account and not my main one. I couldn't *not* subscribe, your videos are crazy engaging, but man- six TH-cam notifications a day is ridiculous. I love it.
Want to know how I know you’re one of the best reactors in the game? I listened to your reaction before I heard the original song. Keep up the amazing work, MRLBOYD! Instant classic!
First off, I just need to say, your the ONLY reaction person I watch... I feel like I can relate to you. The music you like and I tend to feel the same way about songs that you do :-) keep doing you G

He is a suit now, nothing wrong with that, but Em stayed with the fan base and he is sharper than ever, that is why people need to give their dues to them and learn from them. Just because every rapper even the mumble rappers say with false prop money in their hands that they are the number one, but they are actually not on top and if will not happen just because they said it. Em has big influence because other respect him, not the vocal minority like Charlemagne and Benzino, who got shredded by Em, isn't it right, big lord Jamar? XD But the fan base he moves. "I don't see any opening for breaths dude" There is literally like half a second between "Caterpillar" and "don't tell me when I'm supposed to rap until" I practiced rapping this part for ages and the beginning is not actually that hard, breath management becomes harder later.
The part directly after that was pretty impressive breath control though. Something that doesn't come up often is that the more syllables you have, the more times you have to change the tone and direction in your words, the harder it is to not lose your breathing.
