    Thank you, I called them and they said I can write a letter if I need urgent request and they will see how best they can facilitate depending on conditions. I have to reach Norway by Jan 4th and I just submit for my visa so I wrote the letter to see if I would be able to get the urgent service.

    Hi
    Thanks for the informative video,
    Can u please clarify if a student can bring along dependants on masters study visa?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thank you for your question! Yes, as a student on a master's study visa in Norway, you can bring your dependents (spouse/partner and children) with you. However, your dependents will need to apply for a family immigration permit.
      To do this, you must show that you can support both yourself and your dependents financially during your stay. Additionally, your accommodation must be suitable for a family. Your dependents will be allowed to live with you in Norway and, in many cases, your spouse or partner can also apply for a work permit while in Norway.
      Make sure to check with the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI) for the most up-to-date requirements and details.
      Best of luck with your studies in Norway!

    Thank you for this! But is it possible for a student to continue upper secondary school in Norway with sponsorship?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, it is possible for a student to continue upper secondary school in Norway with sponsorship. International students can apply for a student residence permit to attend upper secondary education in Norway. However, there are certain conditions and requirements that need to be met:
      Admission: The student must have been admitted to a recognized educational institution in Norway.
      Sponsorship or Financial Proof: The student needs to demonstrate that they have enough funds to cover living expenses for one year. This can come from a sponsor or personal funds.
      Accommodation: Proof of accommodation in Norway is required.
      Insurance: Health and travel insurance coverage must be arranged.
      Application: The student visa application should be submitted to the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI) with all necessary documentation.

    I have a question. The Norway embassy website says that Applicants with passports that do not require a visa to travel to Schengen (my case), will get their passport returned immediately after the Consulate has registered the application.
    However the VFS says that they do need to keep the passport.
    Because of my current job I need to keep my passport after the appointment, is there an option that I could go for?

      @visalibrary  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For your situation, where there is conflicting information between the Norway embassy and VFS regarding holding onto your passport, it would be best to directly contact the Norwegian embassy or consulate handling your application. Explain your need to retain your passport due to job requirements. They may offer a solution, such as allowing you to submit a copy of your passport for the initial stages of processing or retrieving your passport shortly after registration of the application. Always clarify and confirm such details directly with the embassy to ensure compliance with their specific procedures.

    What is the processing time for student visa from Canada?
    When you submit you application how long after you get back your visa once approved?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The processing time for a student visa to Norway from Canada can vary depending on several factors, including the time of year, the specific Norwegian embassy or consulate processing your application, and the completeness of your application. As a general guideline, it often takes around 4 to 6 weeks for a student visa application to be processed and approved.
      After you have submitted your visa application and it has been approved, you should receive your visa within a few weeks. The exact timing can vary, but it's typically not an immediate process. It's important to apply for your student visa well in advance of your planned travel date to allow for processing time and any additional documentation or steps that may be required.

    But what to do if you want to stay in norway after finishing studies ?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      To stay in Norway after finishing your studies, you can apply for a job seeker visa to look for employment, secure a job and apply for a work permit, continue with further studies and extend your student visa, or apply for a residence permit for self-employment if you plan to start a business.

    Please how much bank deposit is required for students visa application

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The required bank deposit for a student visa application in Norway can vary depending on several factors, including your intended duration of stay, the cost of living in Norway, and the specific requirements of the university or educational institution you plan to attend. To my knowledge, Norway typically requires students to demonstrate that they have sufficient funds to cover living expenses during their studies.
      The Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI) recommended a minimum of NOK 150,000 per academic year. However, this amount can change from year to year, and different universities or programs may have slightly different financial requirements.

    what is the meaning of "documentation from an official authority stating who has parental responsibility for the child"?. who is an official authority? is it the parent? is it the lawyer? who is referred to as the official authority?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For a Norway student visa, "documents from an official authority showing who has parental responsibility for the kid" refers to a legal document issued by a government agency or court that specifies who has legal custody of the child. The official authority varies per nation. Therefore it is critical to secure the requisite documentation from the right official authority.

    Can I apply for additional education visa for my self , and in the same time applying for my family as a family immigration visa to combine me ?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, it is generally possible to apply for an additional education visa for yourself while simultaneously applying for a family immigration visa to bring your family members to Norway. However, you will need to meet the specific requirements for both types of visas, including financial, housing, and admission requirements. The application process for each type of visa may be separate, so it's essential to follow the procedures outlined by the Norwegian immigration authorities for each category.

    Hello dear. Is it possible to request for a D visa after submitting visa application for family immigration?
    A friend of mine submitted his application for family immigration, but this takes long processing time, so he later got to know about the D visa, after submitting the application. Is there any way how he can write to UDI and request that his application be considered for D visa.
