Me as a short person don't really understand why tall people want to look smaller, but now after reading some comments I understand why my sister always says she is jealous of my height. It's just that a lot of people don't accept tall woman. I've tried my whole life to embrace it, countless therapies and medications and it's never worked. I just wanna be tiny but i never can be because of my unfortunate genetics. The existential frustration of not being small drives me closer to ending it all every single day.

14 year old, 5,5. I’ve always been the taller kid, and at one point I was the tallest kid in my whole elementary school. I was 11. 11!!! Not only am I fat, I’m tall. I’m so tired of being the tall kid, so anything I can do to get myself shorter the better 😢

I'm only 5' 5 1/2" tall, which is only 1 inch taller than the average American grl, bt for some reason everybody (everywhere I go) always thinks I'm extremely tall, like close to 6' tall or something. I even measured myself plenty of times & had my doctor even measure me... so it's nt just me seeing it & saying it, & she even said I'm 5 ft 5 1/2 inches tall. I took a pic of me on a stool posing bc I was too short for the camera to do this certain pose, so I used a stool to stand on & someone on fb said they thought I'm 6 ft tall bc I'm as tall as the door behind me. In the pic, I'm closer to the camera, plus I'm standing on a stool. They always disregard these things. Also a guy in the apartment building where I live (there's many apartments here) said I'm close to 5 ft 9 inches tall bc he says he's 5' 8" (bt I think he's about 5'6", he's really really short for a man) & we're about the same, bt he kept saying I'm taller than him. And in the middle of r argument I reached up above the cabinet to gt something (although I had to stand on my tippy toes) he was sitting & he yelled "see !!! Ur a lot taller than me, bc I can't even reach up there in MY apartment!!!" I told him all r apartments r built differently... I told him my apt is actually built for handicapped ppl (ppl in wheelchairs). EVERYTHING is a lot shorter in my apt, the light switches (usually 3 yr olds can't reach light switches, bt Bc mine r shorter, so ppl in wheelchairs can actually reach em, my kids could reach em at a small age), my sinks, cabinets, refrigerator, etc, everything is shorter in my apt bc it's a handicapped apt. I explained this to him & since he didn't believe me, he stood up & reached for it himself & saw that he COULD actually reach it with no problem. He just shrugged. And another guy at work thought I'm taller than Donald Trumps wife. I told him she's just about 6 ft tall !!!!! I'm no where close to 6 ft tall !!!! He didn't believe me until I googled it . I even measured myself with high heels on & I was 5 ft 7 1/2 inches WITH high heels on !!! Also I discovered (remember my apt is shorter than most), usually I dnt wear any shoes when doing my hair & makeup in the bathroom mirror, so one time I put my shoes on first before doing my hair nd makeup & discovered I actually couldn't see the top of my head in the mirror, I had my work shoes on & never ever noticed they make me a couple inches taller. So I had to show the guy at work my true hight by taking my shoes off. He said I was cheating & lying, that I was playing a trick on him or something. All the guys I think lie about they're hight & say they're taller than they actually r & so they wanna say I'm tall. Then I'm around grls that r a lot shorter than me that always say I'm tall, bt these grls r 5 ft tall or shorter. Bt then there's a lot of grls at my work that r a heck of a lot taller then me, bt the ppl that judge me NEVER say anything about them grls. So that's y I looked this video up, bc maybe I'm appearing taller than I really am, or maybe I'm just around really really short ppl.
I mean yeah just make the cuff at the bottom I think. The idea is to have symmetry. The cuff at the bottom will make jeans look the same size as your top creating visual symmetry (sp?).
Back when I was 15 I was already 5'9 and a half. At age of 16 I got my first contract as a model and travelled to Milan. There is no bad from which good doesn't come ❤
