10-15 universities is little bit unrealistic number, and consider that every entery for undergraduated studies is 75€ or more.. thats a lot of waisted money, better advice is to start doing some activities in your free time that will bring you extra points
@@divyanshidarshana3352Rather apply to lesser known Schools depending on the major you want to study and also avoid the Uniassist system. thank god I have see your video otherwise I ll never try to think about public university as today I talked with a consultancy n told my percentage of bachelor's , n they told me that there is no chance for public university with this grade. They were only suggesting private . Thank you so much for the important information.
Great content. From my own experience I believe it also depends on what field you are planning to study at. I did my Masters in Business and Finance at a Private Uni in Germany, a renowned one, however I think that there were a lot of disadvantages. Initially I had to aim for at least 95 points in TOEFL just to be able to apply for admission also knowing that the places for each academic year were limited. Whereas with 80-85 TOEFL IBT I could easily get admission to Uni Koeln which is one of the bests if not the best when it comes to Business studies. Studying at a private uni was hard, I had tuition to pay each semester, failing one course was awful since to register the exam retake would cost so much additionally. Whereas I saw friends studying Business at public universities stress-free, registering less modules sometimes 3 modules per semester compared to me that I could not register my modules myself because I had to pay per semester. Postponing 2 modules would mean an extra semester to pay. So failing a module or postponing an exam was only a part of the nightmares haha! It was also stressful because other guys and especially germans would complain too much if they would get something less than 1,5 or less than 90% as a Module grade. So I stressed the hell out to also keep my 1,6 until I graduated. But it also had its enormous advantages. University would organise courses/labs in which we would work with big players such as KPMG, ACCENTURE, DAIMLER, REWE. I worked on a consultancy project with DB, and in my Business Project module did a project with Accenture. This is something you do not usually have the chance at public universities. My last semester was my mandatory internship that I had to pursue in order to graduate. Again this is something rarely seen as part of the curricula in public universities but very common in private ones. It was stressful but I did my mandatory internship at Bayer the top chemical company in germany. After graduation my CV was rich with experiences in Germany!!! Because I had tuitions to pay and a great GPA to maintain I stressed so much but I did get great work experience, graduated on time, and got plenty of job offers after. Plus private universities have classes of 20 students mostly, consequently plenty of freedom to ask, research and work with the dozents or professors. Again it all depends as you stated-what are you seeking for!
