CDTV I don't usually comment but I've been watching your videos for a few years and I think that you have some of the best quality content. Your editing style never distracts from the content, your videos are very focused and well paced and the amount of commentary you include is perfect. I feel like some creators really drag out their commentary to a point where it doesn't feel relevant and doesn't have enough interesting visuals to match, but you managed to keep even a video of this length entertaining throughout. I genuinely think that you're making some of the best hip-hop content on TH-cam because your style is so consistently good. I really appreciate your videos and I always look forward to whatever you post. Keep up the amazing work!

I've actually been collecting Khaled's albums for my CD collection (So far I got We the Best, We Global, Victory, Kiss the Ring, Major Key, Grateful, Khaled Khaled, and God Did) and I tend to enjoy most of them overall, even if some of them can be a bit filler-ridden. We The Best is probably my favorite, cuz I do enjoy the 2000s sound of it (but that could just me being a 2000s kid) and there a couple songs I actually wish you mentioned like Before the Solution, New York, and I'm From the Ghetto cuz those are definitely highlights for me. Pitbul is a very talented rapper, he decided to go for pop records because he can write those type of verses in his sleep 😅 definitely recommend his early albums. He raps for days

Just started but your trippin on “I’m so hood”. That song is CLASSIC Edit: so is “out here grindin”. That song was a callback to his past style (also Khaled is from Miami as well)
Love this video, just got to the Suffering From Success review and I actually love No Motive tbh. Honestly really liked this album, still love the review though
Okay I'm a DJ Khaled apologist so I gotta comment... but first, great video and fair analysis overall. With that said: since you only listened to what's on streaming, you missed his first album, "Listennn... The Album." This album and "We the Best" are his best and most well-received work by far, and he was loved in the Miami scene at the time. I'd recommend checking out "Holla at Me" from Listennn, it's definitely a standout from the time, as well as "Problem," the latter of which he actually produced the beat for and which features a great Jadakiss verse. "Born N Raised" from Listennn is also a Miami classic. I'm sure you noticed from listening to these albums that there's a familiar group of collaborators on these albums, and I think this represents why Khaled was so loved at the time. The instrumentals are undoubtedly dated, but they represent the Miami energy, which has included a lot of crunk and synth-style influences at the time, following the similarly dated sounds of 2 Live Crew's Miami Bass music
A dj khaled album with just Rick Ross, Nas , lil wayne, drake and Jay Z would probably be the best album he ever makes. A dj khaled album with only future, lil baby, Travis Scott and birdman would probably be the funniest ablum he ever makes.
