I loved this scene so much. It showed how despite every crappy thing that happened between them, despite all their flaws and mistakes they love each other with all their heart. Jo couldn't stay away when she learned that he was not in prison, she had to come see him. And for a moment she just let go and hugged him, and he hugged her back. You could see it in their eyes how much they want to be together, how much being without each other hurts them. But there is so much baggage at the moment and for now, that hug was everything.
I loved it. Justin Chambers said that their souls are meant to be and that we will see them work through their issues and see where to go from here in the next epsiodes, and I can't wait to see that.

Yeah, she loved Alex so much that she was willing to let him go to prison and let everyone think that he was some kind of crazed maniac. She knew very well that Alex thought that DeLuca was sexually assaulting her and that he was trying to protect her but she said nothing!

I just realize that when Jo walks off you can see that she i still really upset with him. And he realizes that as well but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t still love him. I think in this moment she loves that Alex would go to prison if it meant she was safe.

I think that Jo is afraid of Alex. She is a victim of domestic violence and even she is acting though things like that put a strain on you. When she saw Alex beating up Deluca like that (even if it was for a "greater good") she witnessed what alex is capable of. This scene reminds me of a wild animal that finally comes and let you pet it for a second.
Julietta Grey She's a traitor. Did he judge HER when she almost killed that guy? Nope, he threatened the guy to get him to drop the charges and keep her out of jail. He had her back, 100%. Instead of standing by him, she chooses Deluca. And don't forget, SHE was the one trying to cheat in the first place. Not saying Alex is right, he clearly isn't, but she's not the victim here. This entire situation is HER fault. Her lies, and attempt to screw around. Yeah she was drunk, but it still counts.
Julietta Grey you may want to learn the definition of domestic violence cause she isn't a victim of domestic violence no one is. Deluca was assaulted that's it.
Her Husband had almost killed her. She ran away and changed her name, I count that as domestic violence.
when did she try to cheat? This thing with Deluca? That wasn't cheating at all imo. And yes, she should have said it way earlier but I understand that you don't want to forget and not to share your darkest memories, esp when you know that your boyfriend tends to do things like that. I think it is too simple to say that it is Jo's fault. I thought the same when I first watched the episode but when I saw this I realized what this character is really dealing with. Imagine that for a sec: Your husband almost killed you, you were beaten and punshed on a regular basis and you have to run away and change your name to get away from such a monster. After that you see your beloved boyfriend beating the crap out of someone. That would be triggering for everyone.
Julietta Grey That was definitely cheating. She would have had sex with him if he wasn't a decent guy. Without question. And she didn't have to tell Alex about her ex-husband, of course not. But it's a huge part of who is is, why wouldn't you want your partner to know You? That's part of being in a relationship. That being said DeLuca is the only victim, and even after a while I was like pressing charges? Seriously guy. But that's me just being me.
